However, this was quite possibly the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had! It was incredible! The cookies for the sammich were pretty sweet on their own, so the homemade ice cream definitely helped with that. I also tried one of their homemade Salted Caramels, but I wasn't a fan of them. The kind owner gave my guy and I some treats for our dogs to try and they loved it! I really wish I had bought a whole bag for them because they are packed with great ingredients and they were very fresh. Highly recommend if you find yourself in the area!

My partner asked if she can get a side of tomato jam for her sandwich to a response of "Ya I don't know probably"..at this point I was ready to leave as I am in the industry myself and have been so for 20 years and I'm not gonna let anyone treat me like that. We stuck around though as it was our anniversary and this place was recommended by many others when we told them we were going to Taos for our celebration. Coffee took 20 minutes to make two iced lattes, food took another 30ish and they weren't that busy either. We waited so long that someone who worked there eventually came up and asked if we needed help with anything- we stated we were waiting on our order and they said it was gonna be another 10 minutes. All that waiting around for burnt sourdough, half melted cheese, and bland sausage. Kitchen seemed frazzled although it wasn't busy, felt like they threw our food together to start cleaning the kitchen to close, although we weren't there near closing time. The tab was also somehow $52 for two iced coffees and two mediocre breakfast sandwiches..talk about a ripoff. I haven't even had breakfast that expensive in Aspen or Jackson Hole. One star because the coffee was really good, and the bathroom was cool but that's about it. Everything else about the experience there was lackluster, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who visits Taos. This experience was so awful that I had to send in an email in hopes they respond/take my feedback and improve on things, but I will not go back next time I'm in town personally to see if these issues have changed. Additionally, there were whole pies and other baked goods to choose from and a daily soup menu. We were greeted warmly by the gentleman at the register who answered all our questions in detail. My girlfriend ordered a mocha with a slice of quiche and a chocolate croissant to go. The mocha was brought to our table by the barista, looked beautiful and tasted even better. Chocolate croissant never made it out of the establishment and was rated at the top of her list for chocolate croissants. I had regular coffee which was good and a breakfast burrito with green chili which was also very good. Will be returning to get more coffee and try the pies and maybe some of the other choices. Highly recommend KOKO Coffee while in Taos.

I understand that, for many of us, energy bars are convenient nibs of much-needed nutrients for our outdoor adventures but they also come through in a pinch for a substitute meal, and yeah, they never do, right? Wrong. Taos Mountain crafts the only legit meal-in-a-wrapper I know of. Loaded with nuts and nutrients, this company honestly satiates. Faves: the piñon coffee varietal wins, hands-down, caramel pecan comes in second, almond agave third, and last on my list is the coconut bar, which probably has more to do with a coconut issue I've experienced my entire life. Not thrilled with the texture of coconut shavings. Hey, that's my deal, and yet I've devoured the bar. Get one of these bad boys, they're in the $3-$4 range.
