What I got me were a few bon bons and a chocolate torte (the whiskey kind). -Miso Caramel: is shaped like a mushroom. Even if you might not be a fan of miso based (everything), you should try these bon bons anyway as they don't taste like miso at all. I was quite shocked with this myself (well, I like miso soup; miso taste doesn't bother me at all. Even so, Miso chocolate candy was something I didn't know what to expect out of. That is why I am saying that I was surprised by it.) -New Mexico , Spicy: was also surprising. The kick in these tiny pieces was quite mighty and yet it was tolerable. -Whisky Torte: All sorts of organic ingredients are used to make these delightful tortes. Tortes tend to be a lot heavier than traditional cakes as their texture is that of fudge. And yet, that shouldn't be a reason for you to steer clear from it as this chocolatier perfected the torte in a way that it will not be too rich or heavy for your taste or stomach. At least that is what I thought when I tasted it. Another must-try item on their menu offerings. For its interior, it's mostly and simply grey on walls but this emits the "chicness" that doesn't overshadow the theme of its business. You should also pay attention to the ceilings and the floors. A careful attention to entertain the guests' eyes is seen throughout. Service was good. I first went here late in the afternoon (close to its closing time). I quickly glanced at each section of the store inside. The kind gentleman upfront wanted to assist me but after asking him if it was open tomorrow (it would be Sunday), he said yes to which I gave him my promise that I would be back tomorrow. The same man assisted me when I was back the very next day to make a purchase. Not sure if he remembered me or not. It's not chocolate bon bons or tortes you can enjoy at this store. The café offers tasting trios, mocha, chocolate mouse, ice cream, affogato, hot chocolate, and espresso and so on. This is a haven for chocolate fanatics.

You do not expect a huge selection of anything but what they do offer looks really good and you know that you are paying for quality. I honestly wanted breads and pastries and did they deliver! The giant cinnamon bun was supposed to make it to Ft Garland CO, but only lasted about 5 minutes in the car before we dug in. The bread here is also delicious. We actually brought some back to Atlanta with us. Some of the other items we got here were tamale, meats, and candies. This is definitely a great store to stop at on your way in or out of town.

As soon as the Taos Market 501C-3 procures donations needed to gravel some areas there and prepare the land, which they are hoping to do in 2026. This really is a fantastic market; you don't want to miss it. There are now more vendors of healthful prepared meals, more bakers selling pastries and breads, more sellers of coffees, chai (with oat or dairy milk), smoothies, a variety of fresh pressed juices, and Horchata. Locally grown eggs are for sale, along with mushrooms, frozen chicken, beef, mutton, and pork. We have more than one maker/seller of tremontina (a protective skin product), natural skin creams, comfrey and calendula salves, natural deodorant that works, lip balms, face products. You can find top quality lavender oil and oil blends, and scented homemade soaps. Cota Tea herb can be purchased for staying cool in summer (I so love the taste of this tea!) and a wonderful spearmint-and-rose tea. Medicinal herbal tea blends and medicinal herbs, mushrooms, and roots are for sale as well. Locally grown fresh sprouts and salad items, sprouted hummus, special vinegars, different hot sauces, and pickled items. Homemade ristras and bright wreaths of red peppers in fall. Many types of dried beans, dried squash, dried okra, chili powders, and lots of fruits and vegies. Resins, like copal and dragon's blood. Beeswax candles and honey. Also lovely baskets of hanging flowers. Gardeners will also be happy to find many people selling a wide variety of healthy young plants in season - vegies, herbs, and flowers, many types of tomatoes and squashes, occasionally even fruit trees and cane plants (blackberry, raspberry, etc.). Taos really shines in its farmer's market! Even if you're tight on cash, do come enjoy the wonderful people. You can sit in the shade and enjoy the live music, maybe get a watermelon juice.

Tasted more like yeasted bread. Croissant was good, but very small for the price. They charge you "kitchen fee", without asking if you're OK with it (5%), and credit card fee (3% or 3,5%). There is a note about the kitchen fee, but in my opinion they should ask before they put it on the bill. Wasn't impressed at all with anything about this place.

My partner asked if she can get a side of tomato jam for her sandwich to a response of "Ya I don't know probably"..at this point I was ready to leave as I am in the industry myself and have been so for 20 years and I'm not gonna let anyone treat me like that. One star because the coffee was really good, and the bathroom was cool but that's about it. Everything else about the experience there was lackluster, and I will not recommend this place to anyone who visits Taos. This experience was so awful that I had to send in an email in hopes they respond/take my feedback and improve on things, but I will not go back next time I'm in town personally to see if these issues have changed.
