My husband and I got married in a very beautiful country, but planning a larger scale wedding there was a bit difficult. I don't even know where to begin... Jaime and her team at WHE blew us away AND our guests. Jaime not only understood the assignment, she went above and beyond. She somehow managed to pull of the most perfectly planned, coordinated and designed indian/american fusion wedding in Puerto Vallarta Mexico with an entire hotel buy out and with a hotel that wasn't always the greatest/easiest to communicate with. Despite the chaos that came with working with the resort, Jaime made the final production seem absolutely flawless. Jaime was super easy to work with from day 1 and made us so confident every step of the way that we had nothing to worry about. If Jaime says she's got it, she's got it. I had a hard time trusting the process and feeling like it was going to all come together (as a very type A hands on person), but once it did I was mad at myself for ever stressing. Jaime is a true professional and knows exactly what she's doing. She's worked with all types and kinds and knows how to handle every situation, and not just handle, but handle it in a way that's always looking out and beneficial for her clients. I could go on forever, but I will say we knew we threw a good party when one of my husband's Uncle's (who's Indian) said it was the "best and most beautiful Sangeet he's ever been to" which if you know Indian weddings, you know that's saying a lot. Another super important piece was that Jaime knew Indian food was a HUGE thing for us. Not just any Indian food, it had to be good. She worked so hard with the local Indian restaurant (the ONLY one in PV - India Gate) to make sure the food was up to our standards and of course, it exceeded it. All of Deepak's family could not believe how incredible it was, especially since we were in Mexico. However, if it wasn't for Jaime and her endless meetings/organization, it would've never worked out that way. Overall, if you're even considering Jaime, do NOT hesitate. I had a lot of issues finding a wedding coordinator that understood my vision and was willing to work with my budget. With an intimate 20 person wedding, it felt silly to hire a full blown wedding planner for the entire event. Jaime and Erika were willing to work with my budget. They were extremely professional, easy to work with, and they helped me execute the most perfect wedding. They would both answer my emails and this was great because it felt like there were more minds at the table. I was nervous at first because we were from out of town and I never formally met anyone until the actual wedding. But when the week of the wedding came, I could feel their efforts. They were hyper responsive with my emails to them and I could tell they were reaching out to my vendors because I had minimal contact with my vendors - this absolutely eased my stress going into the wedding. The day before the wedding, Jaime let me drop off supplies at her home and this saved me from lugging boxes and bags into the hotel room. The day of the wedding, Erika came in and checked in on me. She was able to gather the last of the supplies for the wedding and helped us execute the most perfect ceremony at the mural room. Erika was amazing - she exchanged numbers with my sister and was able to communicate with my sister to make sure I didn't see my husband before the ceremony ( we were not doing a first look). Erika worked seamlessly with my photographer to make sure we were getting family pictures as well as couple photos after the ceremony. Additionally, Erika worked with a caterer to make sure we were able to get food on the SB trolley, where we were having cocktail hour. She also brought all the chilled champagne to the trolley. Lastly, Erika set up our reception dinner in such a classy, elevated way. Wild heart events has a great eye for design. Erika worked with me, my ideas, as well as my budget to create the most beautiful, bang for your buck table in the Pullman Room at the Lark in SB. Erika helped make our reception room looked so beautiful that even my super picky father in law was floored with how perfect the room looked. Erika then assisted us with toasts and cake cutting. Where do I begin with trying to accurately portray just how truly awesome....and gifted.....Jaime is as an event planner? Do I first highlight how she has an amazing attention to detail or do I first talk about how thorough and organized she is with her planning? Maybe I should start with how she always makes herself available by phone, text, email...or maybe talk about how quickly she always responded? Or should I first point out how carefully she listens to what you explain and how she's even more careful and exact in sifting through the millions of ideas being thrown around and is able to create a vision that is so far above and beyond what you could have imagined? Talking about how mindful and accommodating she is about ones budget, gives you a ton of options and how she works her tail off to come up with ideas that meet your needs is pretty important too. However, so is her effortless ability to make you feel valued, to feel understood and to feel heard. She has an amazing ability of keeping order, keeping cool under pressure and helping reassure you that everything is under control....so maybe I should talk about that? Or perhaps, I'll talk about how amazing of a job she did with planning, coordination, communication and keeping all the wheels in motion that we had not one thing go wrong or left unplanned or unattended. I'm pretty sure we were the only wedding Jaime was planning for those 8 months...there is NO WAY she could have invested the time, attention to detail, been as responsive as she was, so on top of things and organized, so thorough and never able to drop the ball..not once....if she was having to deal with other events. Should I mention how Jaime did a fantastic job of getting ahead of things....even the things that MIGHT have gone in a different direction and made sure things were either already handled, or she had a plan to address the issue if and when it became an issue? Should I mention how many times I heard from her, "Yup..that's already taken care of", "Oh yeah..that..I took care of that last week", "Guess what? I have great news....", followed by some amazing and wonderful surprise. It might be a good idea to talk about all the solid relationships she has with every kind of possible vendor you can think of and how they all love and respect her and will bend over backwards to work with her, and in return, her clients. Do I talk about how her hard work and dedication is portrayed in everything she does and it was her commitment to us, as her clients, that resulted in hearing all through the night and still to this day by friends and family words like "beautiful", "stunning", "amazing", "memorable", "so much fun", "perfect", "so organized and well planned', "the best" to describe our wedding? The fact that it felt like she was literally holding our hands and telling us, "don't worry, I got this..everything is going to be fiiiinnne" the entire time, was pretty awesome and special and definitely worth mentioning. But where should I begin.......... I know!!!....I'll talk about the cool and detailed wedding day agenda she created, with all of my vendors contact information, setup and breakdown times and the detailed timeline she included in it....that was way cool! I really don't know where to begin....Jaime and her team are TOP NOTCH!!!!! We just got married this past weekend at the Whispering Rose Ranch in Solvang and it literally was a dream come true! I discovered Jaime through some research and from the first conversation I had with her, I knew she "got me." She already had so many ideas and was able to streamline my thoughts and ideas into a masterpiece. I was able to be a guest at a wedding she planned coincidentally so I was able to see her "work" at work and I was impressed. Our venue was complicated as everything had to be brought in from the power, to the bathrooms, to the kitchen, etc etc and there were many restrictions around what was needed and allowed (needing security, 1 hour of photos here, etc) and Jaime didn't skip a beat. I am known by my friends as the party planner as I have planned a million showers, bachelorettes, etc so I knew I needed a planner who could basically calm me down and "handle" everything. Jaime was not only that person but also completely exceeded my expectations. Over the past year Jaime has consistently been available for my millions of questions and able to calm down my anxiety over various DIY details. She never dropped the ball and was on top of everything. It was a pretty regular response from her to get "got it covered" or "already handled" or "actually doing that right now." How does one person do that so well! Even though I know that she has a wedding (if not two per weekend) every weekend and not once did I feel like she didn't have time for me. It felt as though my wedding was her only focus and that was pretty rad. Her creativity was endless and she literally has the coolest ideas ever! I didn't choose every vendor through her but the ones she recommended also blew my mind and due to her relationships with them and awareness of financial constraints, she was able to help negotiate contracts and reminded me when payments were due, etc. She also was a great help with handling other vendors which was much needed and very important. By the time our big day arrived, I knew that all was going to go great because she was on top of it all. What can I say. W.H.E. simply exploded our expectations for a wedding. The night itself was pure magic, in both design and function. Jaime has a pacing, energy and attitude that immediately set you at ease and make you realize you and your partner (and your big day) are in capable and professional hands. The planning was thorough but easy; the smallest details were given the most attention. And it showed on the big day. Our guests were floored by the decor, the linens, the graphic design, the florals, the ceremony, the dinner. And yet the entire night felt organic and unproduced. For my wife and I personally, we had zero stress the week of the wedding, because it was all being handled. And the team was flexible enough to accommodate a few last minute audibles from us as well. W.H.E. has a killer vendor list, which adds a lot of value to working with them -- everyone we hired through them had already been vetted for us, which saved us a lot of time finding good people.
