As a 60 year old man who had never tried Pilates, I was a bit unsure how I was going to fit in. But, from the moment I took my first intro class I have felt nothing but welcomed, and more importantly, absolutely love Pilates and Wild Hare! As someone with many injuries and arthritis I needed a gentle way to become stronger and gain flexibility so I decided to try Pilates and am so glad i did! It is just what i needed to accomplish these goals. As a bonus, it is really fun and i actually look forward to the classes, something lacking from most of my previous workout attempts. The workouts are always different which keeps it interesting and the different instructors, who are all excellent, bring unique styles adding to the variety. I love that this studio is so close to my house :), and usually has lots of parking. WHP is only the second pilates place that I have ever been too. I was hooked just for the initial call with Rachel, such a lovely person, she did not try to "hard sell" me, which I really appreciated. All of the teachers that I have encountered where great (Rachel, Talin, Tianna, Michelle F., Julie W, and Michelle Y.) Talin's classes never get boring and seems like she has tons of variations, Rachel's classes seem like they will be easy but she sneaks in another dozen counts, ha ha. Most of them will offer correction of posture or foot placement, and will let you know what muscles you should be feeling during movements. Tianna made classes fun yet 24 hours after every class I had with her, I could definitely feel the muscles toning up. However, I just found out that she is no longer at WHP :( Here is some important information: my many years of low back pain/ sciatica, some surgerys and recent hip pain was noticeably getting better by going 2 times a week, which was the 8 classes a month for $240, [so this is not just another cheap gym membership. Studio and machines are kept clean and their classes run on time.] I have been getting cortisone shots in my spin to help reduce the pain for a few years now. Within the first 2-3 weeks at WHP, I noticed my leg and hip pain was getting better, and my Dr. confirmed that it was most likely because of the Pilates. Very important Information: the 4 and 8 classes a month packages have to be redeemed in the month that you purchased them in, they do Not roll over into the next month. I had not realized that, which I should have Read all the Rules, no fault on WHP. I had 4 classes left and 3 days to redeem them....oops! Also if you sign up for a class and don't show up, you will lose that credit. They also offer a "wait list" option if the class is full, this is so that they can fill the spot with another "Wild Hare" client. Also you have to committee to 3 months membership to start. I have no idea of how the Unlimited package works, hopefully one day, I too can afford the "Unlimited Wild Hare Experience" Very Satisfied Hare! read more

Having the flexibility of an 80-year old man, I decided it was time to put down the free weights, boot camps, and high impact workouts to work on my range of motion, core strength, and flexibility. I have tried other studios when their classes are full and have not liked them. I prefer to waitlist and wait for a class to open up then to go to another studio. I love this place!!! I just started about two months ago and all the instructions have been so helpful/welcoming/nice. You can book online (what day/time you want to come in), within the class you have 5 other people (including yourself so 6) and the instructor. They always fix/make sure your positioning is correct so you aren't injuring yourself and work around any injuries you may already have to make sure you're 100% safe while getting that workout in. I'm addicted to this place! A very body positive pilaties studio, a rarity in Los Angeles for sure. All the teachers have their own unique style and difficulty level. You will sweat and feel it in your core no matter which class you attend. Rachael is chill and lovely, her class makes me smile and feel the burn. Talin is tough but a softy underneath. Tianna connects me to my inner emotions with deep stretching and a relaxing playlist. Michelle brings the discipline and challenges but gives modifications if you are new or just tiered. The reformer machines are easy to use and get the hang of. There are only 6 machines so the class size stays small and focused. Hi all Pilates and Yoga lovers! I have waited a little bit to post this review because I wanted to really give a valid and helpful review. I have been a member of Wild Hare Pilates now for six weeks. I was a faithful yogi for years belonging to Yoga Works and I loved it. I loved the teachers, classes and benefit for my body. Covid really took that all away for me, I enjoy working out with others and feeling the energy and support from a live class. I just couldn't get into the online classes. That said, I have been looking for an in person program that would give me what I needed to get back into shape, safely and responsibly..... I read all the reviews and decided to try Wild Hare Pilates. I was out of shape and knew I needed to start slow and ease my body back into working out safely. I met with Rachel and told her my goals and what I needed to get started. She recommended a few private training sessions so she could see what level I was at and then to recommend how I should proceed. The training sessions were great and I was happy to know that my body was stronger than I thought, there was a lot of muscle memory from my previous years of practice. I became a member and have now be practicing Pilates consistently 3 times a week for one month. With each class my body is getting stronger, I am sleeping better, and the recovery time from each class is minimal. The studio is unique, there are only six reformers and they are spaced well. It feels like each class is a personal session. The trainers are all highly experienced and challenge us each week with a variety of moves and skill levels, always providing alternate moves if needed. I like that all of the trainers encourage trying all moves, while respecting each of our own body conditions, that is important. Easy to get to, lots of free and easy parking, and students and instructors are all very happy and welcoming. I'm a 56-year-old man and I came here a few days ago to try Pilates for the first time and I was extremely impressed. Talin is wonderful! We got a great workout in and she gives you lots of personal attention. There are six reformers in the unit and besides myself, there was a party of four celebrating an office birthday. We all had a blast and we're laughing and had a great time and a great workout. If you are new to Pilates, I think this place is absolutely perfect for somebody trying it out for the first time. And if you've been doing Pilates for a while, I know you'll be very pleased with how the classes run and the attention to detail. I only have pros to report, no cons. I am a firm believer in complimenting people directly and hardly ever use social media; however, today, as I was reflecting about Wild Hare Pilates, previously known as Rebound Pilates by Talin, I felt compelled to write a very well-deserved message to thank everyone. I have always been active, and my stroke in 2018 halted my activity to an extreme level. It was at my daughter Emily's insistence that I decided to try Pilates and my journey began with Talin. Location: It's a shared entrance with Tru Fit Bootcamp. Parking is easy and plentiful. Service: Their follow up and customer service skills is impeccable. Immediately after leaving when there was a mix up for my first class, they opened dialogue via text, easily rescheduled so I was still able to try a class. Class: Wow! Fun class and amazing instructor! The Bounce Mix (trampoline) class requires a lot of coordination and balance which I totally lack, so it required more effort on my part. My legs and feet were sore and on fire in the first few minutes of class already. I was wondering before class, "Why don't they have this class more often?" Talin is jumping right along with the students, teaching, coordinating, thinking of the next move. I can barely jump and move my arms. This class is only offered on Saturday and Sunday, a must try! The clean space offers up functional reformers and a sense of tranquility (you still will sweat). The brightest stars at Rebound at the instructors. Talin, I presumes owns the studio. Really uncomfortable and unprofessional first time experience. I showed up to class 15 minutes early as is required. I walked into the studio and opened the door. The instructor immediately looked at me and in a rude tone goes "umm excuse me are you here for class at 9:30" and I responded yes "well I'm in a private session so you need to wait outside" ok why was there no sign on the door and why could you not explain that in a polite time? Why require someone to show up 15 minutes early only to make them stand outside and wait? I immediately left because I no longer felt comfortable or welcomed. read more

I discovered this studio a few weeks ago and I am totally addicted. The instructors are awesome and make each class interesting. I like that they give step by step instructions and corrections that allow me to do the exercises in a way that is appropriate for my body.
