I've been taking classes 2x a week with Claudia since April. She is so knowledgeable about the body and really works to help you with your form to sculpt and change your body for the better. She keeps an eye on all students to be sure their form is correct. She has leaned out my legs, tightened my butt, arms and really strengthen my core, not to mention how Pilates helps with balance because you work both sides of the body. Claudia is THE BEST there is!! I've taken classes with dozens of teachers and Claudia's workouts were LIGHTYEaRS above the rest. She takes posture and form so seriously so you get so much better results. She taught me correct form, both for Pilates reformer, and weight lifting, so that I can feel confident whenever I work out, be it at her class or even at home. She even has a skeleton model in the class so she can show you exactly what the correct alignment looks like. 30 minutes of her class is like 2 hrs of a more basic bootcaMp elsewhere. I started consistent classes with Claudia in January and I recommend this studio to just about anyone I meet! Group classes are small which helps you not feel like a number. My favorite thing about Pilates on Demand LA is that Claudia is so knowledgeable about the body, she explains what the workout should feel like and what muscles you are building. Having professional instructors helps you have better form which helped me feel really comfortable on the Pilates machine! Pilates on Demand LA - After 7 weeks of consistent classes at PilatesOnDemandLA - Pilates Near Me - Chatsworth, California

Honestly, I came here for a class one morning expecting a reformer Pilates class since that's the pictures they advertise on Class Pass. However, when I walked it, there were two other women and the instructor for a HIIT type of Pilates class with mostly body weight and a few weights. It was a decent class but not what I expected. As a former athlet who lifts and runs, I'm used to having bigger/ more muscular legs which recently has been an insecurity. The instructor did comment on my legs as we worked out, saying something about "we can fix that" and "oh I guess some of us like having bigger legs" when I did the exercise a certain way. It was not a comfortable experience but a decent workout if that's what you're looking for. read more

I'm sad to say this but I will not be going back there. The studio is clean and beautiful but Claudia made me feel small not encouraged since it was my first bed pilates class there. It was also my first one back in general since I had my baby. She referenced my "foopah" multiple times and was very tough with her instructions that were very hard to hear over the music to begin with. At the end of class I complimented the space and she tapped my stomach and said that if I keep coming back she'll get rid of "this" meaning my foopah again. And then I mentioned how I had a baby less than a year ago and she so oh girl don't blame your kids. So unfortunate. read more

I hesitated for awhile to write this review. It's not my intention to besmirch anyone's business. Perhaps the instructor has learned and grown for since my experience. Personally, as someone who has exercised their whole life I felt unsafe at this studio and I think there needs to be some accountability. The gist of my criticism has to do with the instructor (maybe the owner?) and their approach to business and instruction. First, they administered an assessment on the Megaformer (which by the way is an off shoot of a reformer and Pilates). The results of the assessment were pretty grim, ones that might equate to someone whose never used a Megaformer, aka a BEGINNER! They demanded that I was not ready for the BEGINNER CLASSES and that in order to join the BEGINNING CLASSES, I would need more private sessions. What made me feel vulnerable? On several occasions, in the span of a couple sessions, she repeatedly scolded each move I made and said that if I fell off the Megaformer, no one would stop or blink an eye. I don't expect people to stop if I fall off a machine but did that mean if I laid there unconscious or had a heart attack no one would call 911? They demanded that I wasn't ready for the BEGINNER CLASS. Am I crazy to assume that a beginner class would be paced accordingly? Should I tell the parents of my students that they must have private tutoring session before entering my beginning reading class? I try to create a safe environment for my students by scaffolding and differentiating. This is not my first rodeo show, and I have done Pilates in the past so I continued searching for the right place. Motivate in Porter Ranch offers Megaformer Lagree method classes for all levels. Was it hard? Yes. Did the instructors stop for me? No. Was I good at it? No. I did get a great workout and received direct, qualitative feedback. Let me stress that this place does not teach reformer Pilates and there are several details I left out of this review. If you are interested in their curriculum look at the Lagree method. Finally found a Reformer Pilates class which is more about the individual than a scene from Fame or Whiplash. read more

I started Pilates with Claudia since February this year and I'm instantly hooked. Claudia is strict particularly in making sure you get the right form which I love because I know that I'm getting the workout I need. The class is 40 mins but it always feel like I worked out for hours. If you are a beginner, I highly suggest you get Claudia's 1:1 personal training so you will know the right form and so when you join the regular class, it'll be better and you can follow along coz it fast phased. Now 2 months of doing pilates I see not only physical improvements but also mental. I do a lot of other work outs but now I'm more mindful of my form to achieve the goals I need. I noticed that my posture has improved a lot. It's a small class, max of 5 which is great because the instructor can really focus on your form. Ok.. its been 6 months that I've been coming to Claudia and I love it so much. Yes, she's tough, but you can't expect to see results if you take easy classes elsewhere. She emphasizes form, doesn't play around, and you get your money's worth. She does NOT take excuses, and I can truly say I'm glad she doesn't let me make excuses because if that were the case, I wouldn't be where I am today, in terms of strength. :-) She's transformed my body and I feel so much stronger. I've taken quite a few different classes at many different studios but Pilates on Demand is by far the best of them. Claudia is so attentive to all of her students. I've taken quite a few of her classes and I have nothing but great things to say! Every time I leave her studio my legs are shaking. She's a stickler for form and she always makes sure to correct all of her students. She has so much experience and always makes the classes super fun while making sure to keep an eye on everyone. Claudia's classes are very small which I like because she doesn't have to spread herself too thin with so many students. Complete lunatic, deceitful and not even Pilates certified. She does not allow you to have a water bottle in "her" studio and if she sees you taking a sip of water during your work-out, she will berate you, call you a racist and kick you out of "her" studio in front of other clientele. The only positive thing is that there's hardly anyone ever in "her" studio and you end up getting a private or semi-private session for the price of an unlimited monthly package... until you get kicked out. read more

I was walking my dog when I noticed this place. It Seems small on the outside, but really spacious and legit on the inside!!!! my instructor was really fun.....her music kept me motivated during class. I Normally focus on core in pilates, but she had me doing back, legs, arms....I like to rely on the gym for my weights and full body....so that was different for me. I forgot My instructors name...maybe jazz. She focused on training and that was also different ( i liked that) I'll definitely be back guys....especially because its so close by my house! read more

I must say that I really enjoyed coming into this business, it was really neat, clean, and all standards and protocols for safety from Covid were in place and the owner was amazing. First, let me say that the atmosphere at this Pilates Studio was so relaxing, calming and friendly.  I was hesitating to come here because of a bad review, but I went anyway to see for myself after reading all the other hidden 5 star reviews. So glad I found Pilates on Demand LA nestled quietly in our neighborhood. With the low lighting, candlelit atmosphere, I felt so relaxed and comfortable because I was nervous. I am so glad Claudia insisted I took the beginner private assessment as she explained with her 40 years of dance and numerous pilates certifications it was extremely important that you knew what body parts you were working at all times, because I had been to other studios and never really knew what I was doing. I was more than willing to take more privates, for her, as she is hands on and taught me how to sculpt my body no matter where I worked out. So grateful for her passion and expertise. After reading other reviews I am not the only one who thinks the owner/instructor is very rude and lacks customer service. I had booked an 8:30am class through class pass (it would have been my first time for this Pilates studio) then the day before, I get a short email personally from the instructor saying come at 7:30am. She literally gave me no explanation, like umm what happened to the 8:30 class that I have booked? What if I can't make 7:30? She didn't even try calling me and I got no notification through class pass saying that it was cancelled , just a short email saying come at 7:30. I hardly ever check emails so I literally saw it the night before. Now I have to wake up at 6:30am (an hour earlier) just to figure out what's going on since she gave no explanation and I don't want to be charged a no show fee since I don't know if 8:30 is still possible or I need to go to the 7:30 one. I get things happen and it's totally ok to cancel but I would have liked a "hey We have you booked for 8:30 but unfortunately that class has been cancelled can I move you to the 7:30 class? That would have made everything clear from the start and gave me the option to decide if I can make the new class time or not, but From the email alone I could already tell she had no customer service skills. So I wake up early morning and call. I say hi I have booked an 8:30 but I got a short email saying come at 7:30. She's giving attitude already and just says "yeah?.." um ok did something happened to the 8:30 class? She Very short says "It's cancelled". No sorry, no concern if 7:30 still worked for my schedule. I had to dig answers out of her Its a very small intimate class my guess is that if she dosent book enough people in one class she'll cancel that class time and just move them to a different class time. This made me feel that I didn't want to book future classes anymore because she's just going to be moving class times around last min without any regard to my schedule or to late cancellation fees. Anyways I was still going to try to make the new class time of 7:30am, but after her attitude and unprofessionalism I decided I didn't want to support this business so I rather just cancel and get charged a late fee even if it wasn't my fault for the last minute schedule switch. Also after reading other multiple reviews about how she scolds people I totally knew what they meant, and I have never even met her in person just from the email and phone call alone and her attitude was not it! I want to take Pilates to relax not to be given attitude and feel bad energy. Claudia is the BEST of the BEST. After i met her, at a different studio, i didn't want to take a class with anybody else. So i would literally follow her schedule. She was the only one that corrected my form and made sure i was doing everything correctly. When i was pregnant she went above and beyond. She would modify the routine for me and even take a wedge so i could keep rocking my pilates classes while very pregnant.  This attention you only get from a knowledgable instructor and someone that cares. I was beyond ecstatic after she opened her own studio. I know that at her studio I won't be wasting my time and money. I'm there to shape and tone my body and that is Claudia's number one priority. FINALLY someone who actually takes REAL time to help me correct my form!!! Claudia Dillingham walks the walk AND talks the talk FOR REAL . She knows the human body and how muscles work in isolation AND together. A lot of Pilates franchises around can feel so impersonal because they have a formula and a schedule that don't allow for time to thoroughly correct people's form. The classes are too crowded. Claudia makes BODY TRANSFORMING corrections. Her corrections helped me learn to REALLY protect my spine, strengthen and use my core and glutes. She saved me from damaging my lower back trying to done exercises that franchise class teachers push people to do, often INCORRECTLY. read more

Claudia, the owner is an amazing instructor. She has a dance background as well as knowledge of the physical anatomy of the human body. As a result, she teaches to meet the needs of her students and adapts the exercises to your personal needs. I have complete trust in her to be sure I am in the correct position for the Pilate routines. I have had injuries from another studio that did not make sure you were doing the exercises correctly; I have not had any with Claudia.
