I love this family owned Pilates Studio in Granada Hills. The owners truly care about their clients and their instructors. The studio has a warm family feel to it. It's truly a hidden gem for people wanting to take private Pilates classes as well as group classes. The instructors are all experienced (Peter, Carolyn, Sue, Connie, & Meghan) and make the classes fun yet always productive. I always leave feeling like I have had a great work out and have challenged myself. They are competitively priced and have different monthly memberships for everyone's needs. @pilates was my host studio during my teacher training year. I did my courses at Basi headquarters in Newport Beach but I felt very comfortable and happy training with the best Pilates instructors. The studio is carefully designed so it is open, immaculate and welcoming. All of the equipment is well cared for and offers a great many options for stretching and exercise. They offer small classes or individual instruction. The biggest asset is their instructors. I have taken classes from several different instructors and they all are experienced, well informed and supportive. I have several body issues and they work with me. I absolutely love coming to this pilates studio! Carolyn is my instructor and she is amazing! The one to one personal instruction and attention that I receive is exceptional because she takes the time to correct your form to make sure every move and stretch is correctly done. At the end of 2017 I thought it was time to make some changes to my routine. I have driven by @Pilates for years and liked the "boutique" look of the facility. I called and did 4 privates, then another 8 privates, and now I'm doing semi privates 3 times a week. Over the last 3 months I feel I am stronger, physically and mentally. Carolyn is a fabulous teacher who really cares about her students. She's supportive, gives great advice, and works with me to get me strong enough to participate in other activities that I am inspired to try (like kayaking and women's self defense). Nice, clean and intimate studio. I've been attending private and group classes with Roseanne since the studio opened. She is awesome! She is very tough and really works you out. She takes the time to know your body and caters the class to your ability. I like that she pushes me to work harder. Started my private Pilates classes in January. My instructor is Roseanne! This place is fantastic. First, it is 2 minutes from my house so that makes it super convenient. Second, the equipment they have is top notch. Every thing is clean and orderly. Third and best part... Roseanne is a great instructor. She is very knowledgeable in Pilates, she is patient, a great teacher, and knows so much about the anatomy of the body so that the exercises are just right for ME! 4 months into my classes and I feel so much better. I have been a client of Peter's since August, 2016 and continued sessions bi- weekly until May, 2018 when I started classes with Carolyn until leaving CA in Sept, 2019. I started Pilates due to the various issues with 2 hip replacements as well as dealing with my neck's spinal stenosis. However, during those 3 years in their studio and now virtually during this pandemic, I've been lucky to have Carolyn guide, not only for my physical well-being, but also to give research based suggestions to improve my overall health as a 76 year old client. After a year of the pandemic with no @Pilates sessions, my weekly workouts are currently online with a friend. Both of us are seeing the benefits of balance & flexibility, core strength (via abs and kegels)...as well as my friend's weight loss, increasing muscle control, and the flexibility that she needs daily taking care of her young school age granddaughters during this time of home schooling. read more

Prior to going to @Pilates my experience doing Pilates had not been super enjoyable. Working with Michelle has allowed me to not only have a better appreciation for Pilates but a real love for it. Improvements in my posture, flexibility and overall well being began to show after only working out two days a week with her. This is a welcoming studio with easy parking !! I have been to many studios in the Northridge/Chatsworth/Granada Hills area and this is, by far, the most comfortable and well equipped (and clean!) . I had several private pilates sessions with Michelle - and she is an AMAZING - perfect energy instructor to guide me, (and I am not a huge exercise enthusiast) to look forward to and love pilates. She varies the exercises and keeps me motivated.... time flies by quickly !! I am so grateful that I found this quiet little special pilates studio. @Pilates is absolutely wonderful. They take the time to learn you and your body to get you the best workout possible. Thank You @Pilates! I was not an exercise person these days, and so this was a great way to ease back into it. I started with private sessions with Michelle and, thoughtfully, she moved me into less expensive classes when I was ready.
