The newest location in the West Plaza neighborhood is such a great addition to the neighborhood and is a great place to relax and eat or work while enjoying goodies and drinks! I took my parents to the Bodega (and they're already HUGE fans of Blackhole), and we were not disappointed. So many pastries, which we love! But also, they have a selection of shelf-stable and refrigerated goods that you can peruse as you walk up to the counter. AND as you get up to the counter, you also notice the selection of coffee beverages and other beverages (I had a blueberry lemonade! Yum!), and some great looking breakfast sandwiches! My parents and I couldn't get past the pastries, so I'm looking forward to grabbing one of those breakfast crunch wraps next time I'm over there! As always, the staff were so helpful in letting us know the special elements of the menus and the recommendations! The complexity here, it would have been so easy to go wrong. But it was amazing. I love how light and airy the space is, I did a little bit of working for a few hours and it was lovely. The temperature was pretty comfortable, not freezing cold like it was earlier in the summer when I visited. Folks were sitting around various tables working, there's plenty of space for others if needed. The only thing is -- come with a charged device? I didn't see outlets easily when I was scanning.
