On 11/8/25 Swan Pointe HOA took 14 Residents to Wild Eggs in Middletown for Brunch. Our servers today were Kimberly Z and Carolina C. These servers did a fantastic job taking our drink requests and getting them to the correct guests and then they came around and took our orders. Their menu has such a great variety that it took a while for me to decide but my husband knew exactly what he wanted to have. They were only going to have the Pumpkin Pancakes for a few more days. Many had French Toast, Make Your Own Omelets, I chose Eggs Bennie and Fruit. The food came out pretty quickly and I loved how Kimberly knew exactly who got each plate. Carolina came by and checked on us so often. These 2 girls made a great team. There were a couple of guys that helped out but I didn't get their names. We had a great time talking to our friends and the restaurant's volume was low enough that we could talk to our friends. I really hated to leave. Ally is the GM and We want you to know that the staff was unbeatable! And that: The food was great. The servers were great. The ambiance was great. You all need to come and enjoy Wild Eggs! if you've never been here before!

You cannot go wrong with a breakfast date here! It gets very busy so I enjoy sitting at the bar if it's just me or me + 1! The bartenders are so nice, attentive and you can order right there. I am basic and I get the i am Zax- scrambled eggs, breakfast tots (god send- try them iykyk) and the blueberry muffin. Mimosas are made w fresh squeezed OJ & perfection. It's worth every penny!

Very kind and attentive staff and fast service, even though they were super busy! Great for a casual brunch. Everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, and very filling. Very reasonable pricing. Kalamity Katie's Border Benedict was delicious on cheddar corn cakes, and some of the best chorizo I've had. The skillet potatoes were so crispy. The Potato Head Casserole and Carolina Casserole were both excellent, although I personally preferred the Potato Head. The muffins that came on the side were warm, fresh, and probably the fluffiest, softest muffins I've had.

I woke up wanting oatmeal and the first spot that crossed my mind was Wild Eggs. They have the ultimate oatmeal ensemble. When I say an ensemble it truly is an ensemble. Not only do you get a warm hearty bowl of oatmeal you get three choices of accompaniments. I chose brown sugar, candied pecans and strawberries. The serving size is large enough for me to eat on a couple times so that is a plus for me! The staff are always so friendly and the service was great. Added entertainment was listening to the table of men talking about the Caribbean across from me. That was a trip! It had been awhile since I had visited Wild Eggs but when I want the best oatmeal I know where to come. You can't beat the service at Wild Eggs. They're always so polite and efficient. I will add if you like spicy chicken, their Chicken & Waffles is the bomb!!!!!

UPDATE 9/22 : The manager who was so amazing and made me a dairy free waffle is gone. The new manager wouldn't even consider it and wasn't helpful at all. So, that sucks. Docked 1 star for that. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff, the food, the atmosphere, all of it. I currently have to do no dairy due to a dairy allergy and most places would have basically just said too bad if something I wanted had dairy BUT NOT HERE The waitress made sure to tell the kitchen I was dairy free AND THEN The manager literally made me a waffle that was dairy free. I was truly so impressed with the kindness.

Wild eggs is a good little breakfast diner that has good breakfast food and is quite busy during meal's in the morning especially. It's been remodeled and has some tables on the side and some more private areas to sit if getting there early.

You order at the window, take a buzzer, get your drinks and find somewhere to sit. We (a party of 4) showed up around 11 on a Sunday morning and the line was already out the door. We had a hard time deciding what to order because everything we saw coming out before us looked just as delicious as the last. After the owner greeted us and gave a run down while in line, we settled on the shrimp and grits, steak and eggs, bread pudding french toast with a side of bacon, and a chicken and bacon croissant sandwich. (I wanted to order the biscuits and gravy weekend feature but they were already sold out.) The girl at the register was polite but very soft spoken so we had trouble hearing what she said. The coffee was the perfect temperature for drinking immediately without scalding yourself, and the different flavorings and types of milk/cream to choose from was a major plus! There were no complaints about any of our food except the steak was a bit under seasoned. I had the french toast, and, in my opinion, is enough for 2 people. There was a bit too much whipped buttercream for me but I was able to rake off majority, and the fruit that came on top was so fresh! The bacon was thick sliced and 3 of my 4 pieces were cooked perfectly to my liking - not too crispy, not too soft! We all were part of the clean plate club after eating because the food was that good! I wished now we would have taken pics of our food before eating! It's a shame it came up as #16 on my Yelp search because it wasn't even the least bit on my radar for our breakfast spot. The restaurant has a back parking lot and on street parking - the restaurant is quite large with two indoor seating areas and outdoor patio seating. The menu is large with a big brunch menu, lunch and entree options and kid's menu. We started with the s'mores hot chocolate and apple cider mimosas. The hot chocolate was pipping hot and delicious topped with toasted marshmallows. The apple cider mimosas had a weird flavor, I would recommend going with another fruit juice option. We ordered the kids buttered noodles with waffle on the side - big wide noodles that were swimming in butter. My son thought it was too much butter but loved the type of noodles. The waffle was good - not very sweet but he enjoyed it. My daughter loved the chicken and waffles entree, but I thought the portion was a bit small for an adult entree. The chicken was freshly breaded but the waffle was on the smaller side. The sandwiches and soups were delicious - we had the club which was filled with ham and turkey and the perfect amount of mayo. The tomato soup was creamy and so satisfying. The Ruben was a good size and stuffed with corned beef and melty cheese! Overall we had a great experience- a bit on the pricey side. The orange juice was amazing super fresh, natural, and sweet. The cinnamon roll was good (not the best I've ever had, but still enjoyable). The food overall was solid. The banana bread French toast was really good, the eggs were cooked well, and the biscuits and gravy were also very tasty. It was about half full. Service is quick and friendly. From looking around the room, it seemed that most people ordered the Hot Brown even though there is an extensive menu of other options. The Hot Brown is an open-faced turkey sandwich. A thick slice of turkey is served over thick-sliced bread. The turkey is covered with mornay (béchamel with Gruyère cheese), topped with bacon, sprinkled with parmasean and broiled in a gratin-dish, served with a roasted tomato. It's gooey and cheesy, turkey moist and tender, bacon crisp. Very hearty, very filling. Unique, definitely worth trying. Not sure I'm having another one, but glad I experienced it.

I went to Foko after hearing nonstop hype about it being one of the absolute best breakfast spots…read morein Louisville. The place is positioned as this incredible Mexican breakfast destination, so I figured it had to be something special. Turns out it's just standard Mexican food and drinks. Even if they were using using "the freshest most highest quality ingredients", it doesn't show in the final product at all. Heres what i got: The Espresso Martini ($14) was actually decent--nice and foamy with a solid chocolate note. The Carajillo ($8), on the other hand, was weak. It tasted like plain iced coffee with zero detectable alcohol. I wouldn't order it again. The Wake Up Burrito $14: their biggest hype item. I got it and added chorizo for $3.50, bringing the total to nearly $17.50. It's sausage, cheese, eggs, and beans wrapped up--pretty good, but nothing groundbreaking. Without their green sauce it's completely average, no different from any regular breakfast burrito at a diner. The green sauce itself is what really the only saving grace, but they serve it in tiny thimble-size portions like they're guarding some secret recipe. So for $18 you get a medium-size burrito plus a couple of fried tortillas with cheese on the side. Compare that to mexican spot like Bandito, where the burritos are twice the size and cost much less. This one is seriously overrated. The Chilaquiles - I got the side order of these with the burrito, and were average at best. Just fried tortillas with cheese and a little sauce that had a slightly sour edge. Not bad, but nothing I'd call amazing. I thought to myself, if these had egg and beans(what the main dish has) , would I have been glad to pay $17? The answer is no. Ive had better at the airport. Bottom line: Foko is incredibly overrated. It feels like a tourist trap built for people for those Luisville people who who don't eat much Mexican food and think this is the pinnacle. I get it, the decor is nice and gives that "premium" feel but the prices are way too high for what you actually get. I won't be back.
