The staff must love what they do because every question and conversation with guests ended with huge smiles and encouragement from them to enjoy the moment! The food choices that my daughter and Doug agreed upon were spot-on for our out of state, DC guests. The table sets for the guests were done promptly to accommodate any early arrivals, as were the beverage, and snack tables. The price for Doug's catering service, his travel time from Bozeman, and food costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend, Doug his staff and, "The Bountiful Table" for your next catering event!!

When we lived in Bozeman my wife and I would get their lunches for our private trips down the Yellowstone and Madison Rivers. Their lunches are awesome! The curry chicken sandwich is the best. Comes with chips, salad and cookies. We moved from Bozeman a year ago. Returned a few days ago for a vacation and one must do on our list was to get our lunches here. Picked them up at 8 am and enjoyed them in Yellowstone National Park. They are delicious. Do it.

Given the constraints where we would be camping for a week deep in the mountain without refrigeration, a big crew of 15 men, a jet boil cook system, and with him alone I've had better meal experiences with more flavor and unique executions of menu items than I've ever had in my life. Without a doubt this man is dedicated to a quality and professional experience for his clients. It was an absolute pleasure to spend time with him, learn about him and the dishes he was creating. The man is a true artisan of his craft! Would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a true 5 star experience for quality of ingredients, technique, and a great personality to be around.

They answered all of our questions throughout the process and ensured our perfect dinner spread was achieved. We absolutely loved choosing several unique pizzas from their creative menu ... and all were 10/10 delicious! Our guests were raving about the food all night (special shoutout to the appetizers as well!) What I found the most meaningful about working with this company is that they really go above and beyond for their clients. When we asked about having an unconventional dessert that tied into our love story, they didn't even hesitate to say yes! Max worked with his baker to create a custom bread pudding for us and all of our guests, which turned out better than we could have imagined. They also took extreme care to ensure our gluten free / dairy free guests had the same top-notch experience as everyone else. One of our friends came up to us ecstatic that she got her own little pizza box, enjoying the same meal just safe for her allergies :) The whole planning process, communication, team assistance, presentation and service were truly unmatched. I highly recommend booking The Ugly Onion for your next event, especially if it's a wedding! We really loved having a fun and memorable dinner, and cutting a pizza rather than a cake was the BEST. Thank you to Max, Greta, Carley, and the whole team for being such an important part of our day and making the whole experience seamless. Truly wish we could do it all over again!

Right off the bat I already felt like I was an inconvenience for asking them to call me back so that I could pay them to provide us with food... I was interested in getting a quote for my wedding of 120-130 people which would include passed hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, a dinner, and then late night pizza. They told me it would be at least $20,000 and asked if that was within budget before they spent time drawing up an actual quote. I told them it was a bit higher than we were looking to spend but perhaps we'd like to have them just do the late night pizza truck option... I was again told they don't have the time. They then emailed my fiancé back telling us they don't have any services to provide us that would fall under $10,000. Would never recommend these people to anyone and will go out of my way to share this horrendous experience with the rest of the people I work with. Thanks for nothing more than a miserable experience. If you want to come off as a bunch of pretentious money grabbers, you're nailing it. Disappointed I worked so hard to get a hold of these people and was excited about potentially working with them.
