I don't know if he's lazy, dumb, or both, but the service manual tells how to fix this. A few taps with a hammer and the addition of some oil got everything working. Every other Bernina shop my mom has brought this machine to has returned it to her in good-as-new condition. Fashion Fabrics is, IMO, the worst place to take a Bernina. Sew Suite in Summerville is worth the drive.

They have people who can upholster your cushions and make your curtains. However it takes about 5-6 weeks depending on time of year and demand. I decided this time to hold off as I was kind of shell shocked at the price to cover my outdoor furniture cushions. Who knew, this was such an expensive process. I did mine three years ago with the help of a friend & I swore never again. I may have to back track on that decision.
