Parking can be a little limited if looking for free, but there's 2 paid public parking lots on the other side of the railroad tracks which is only a short walk away. They had a walk-in that ran late so the room I was going to be was occupied so I had to wait about 15mins past my appointment time, but the receptionist was kind. There's a room that's in the lobby area, which was mine and I was nervous about how loud it would be because there was also work being done on the railroad tracks which are right next to the building. They quickly turned over the sheets when the appointment before me was over. The overall massage was good, Vincent had different techniques than what I was used to that helped with my trigger points. I'm not sure if he ran out of time though or if this was just his style but he didn't massage my arms or neck area when I was laying on my back. He did spend a long time on my back though which was helpful because that's where most of my tension was. I also liked that he didn't do the exact same thing on each side, it felt truly customized to where my tension was and what my body needed. He used hot towels too, which were a nice touch to help relax my muscles. He also provided me some neck stretches I can do to help release tension. During my consultation I got that gut feeling that this was not a good idea. My main concern was my frown lines. The NP assured me that Botox would smooth those lines out. The NP bragged about herself, and doing her own injections- her eyebrows were crooked! The whole time she was out of the room getting the injections together I told myself I needed to leave. Well I listen to my gut. After the toxins had a time to settle I went back. My eyebrows were crooked and I had weird lumps in my forehead. My frown lines had not changed a bit. The original NP wanted a second try, seriously! After much convincing I allowed a different NP to add more dysport to my forehead. I spoke with the office manager about my disappointment with the services they provided that cost me $1260. It was reasonable that I pay for my forehead/eyebrows if the additional injections corrected the issues, but that was a lot of money for my frown lines with no results. The office manager promised to call me the next day after she spoke with her boss.......that was it, totally ghosted after that!! Please do not waste your hard earned money here. There are so many other choices in Charlottesville.

Lisa gave a first rate massage, checked occasionally for comfort but was otherwise quiet. It was very relaxing, one of the best I've had. The two women who did my nails were two of the nicest, sweetest people I've met in a salon in a long time. They took more time on the filing, scrubbing, and massaging than anyone ever does these days. The moisturizing treatment with hot towels was great. Cons: Christian rock played the first two hours I was there. Luckily you couldn't hear it in the massage room. Then they switched to straight country which was survivable. Both polish jobs were actually really sloppy and on my pedicure she skipped the base coat and only used 1 coat of color. I also think the polish they used might have been old as it was pretty gloppy.
