He told us that if he could access the components on a future visit, there would be no charge for his return service call. The technician was pleasant, but seemed to have limited knowledge about Wolf hoods, and did not contact Wolf technical services, which could have been helpful. Later, Jolene K called, and introduced herself as the "CEO of Hargo". When I looked her up, I found that her official title is actually "manager/customer response contact". She told me that if the technician came back, there would be a charge for his visit (minimum of $90), despite him telling me that there would be no charge. She also said his work would not be warranteed, and strongly discouraged me from having him come back, calling the whole thing a "sticky situation". She advised purchasing a new range hood. I told her a replacement hood would cost over $4000 with installation. She again strongly advised against having the technician come back out, and was unpleasant to the point that I thought she was going to say "we refuse to come back to work on your range hood". Very disappointing and unprofessional. Needless to say, I will never use Hargo again.
