We used Albrite to fix a circuit that was not working properly, to fix some outdoor lighting that was not working, to replace an outdoor receptacle that was not GFCI, and to install a new circuit and receptacles in the workshop. Sometimes electrical work is a mystery to me, so they seemed like magicians in being able to discover the problems and fix them. They were professional and efficient. Had an installation done by another electrical contractor from out of town. Had a warranty issue. Turns out that contractor isnt certified to do warranty repairs. Albright IS certified for warranties. Albright did a great job and found several installation issues that must be corrected. read more

We had Albrite Electric install a generator. I can't say enough about how professional, friendly and helpful they were. The installation took place in February 2022 and due to the big late winter 2022 snow storm we were without power from the grid for 4 days. However, the generator operated flawlessly and the few moments it took for the generator to take over was hardly noticed. In addition, Albrite services the generator once a year and again, everyone was super friendly and professional. I hired Albrite electric to install a GFCI outlet in my basement, and was very impressed by how professional and efficient they are. Kathy, the operator, was very courteous and communicative as I called for quotes and set up the appointment. They showed for their appointment promptly with a two man crew, and were extremely friendly and nice! It only took them about 10 minutes to change the receptacle. They also took special precaution to make sure not to damage anything - for example, carefully moving the washer and making sure that no water lines would be damaged. At the same time, they also checked my other outlets to make sure they were properly grounded (for free) and gave me a lot of insight while they were doing their work. I would recommend them to anyone, and in fact, plan to use them again to swap out a ceiling fan for a light fixture soon! read more

We had Albrite repair the separation of two older rental units. We asked them to ensure they were separated so we could call code and have the electric switched back over to the tenants. They said they did and we paid $1400 approx. A year later the power goes out again we find out they did not separate the units and in fact even more plugs are switched. When I asked them to fix they said they did the task THEY outlined but then slipped and said well we never actually got access to the upper unit. They are fly by night operation that is very unprofessional. My wife called upset because she wasn't sure how to handle it they told her they didn't have any openings to fix the problem after they had already quoted it. I called from overseas and very calmly explained I was deployed military and just needed help scheduling the fix for the new issue and I would even pay. They wanted to argue the old issue and finally yelled at me and hung up. I never even wanted to talk about the old issue other than to say i had concerns but I would be happy just paying to have them fix the new issue which they refused. I believe they 75% other business is probably routine but they will take advantage of anyone else. They are getting a benefit from being a woman owned business but it is clear Andrew makes all the decisions and is using Kathy as a front for tax purposes. The people are not reputable and unless what you have is extremely easy and routine you will not be happy with their service. We are now following up in a legal manner for work that was not completed as asked but billed to us. read more
