Blandings was hired for a residential electrical job. Clean up the existing electric which still…read morehad fuses, upgrade the system, install new outlets and light receptacles. They never asked me what color outlets I wanted, and proceeded to replace them, and then they put the old cover plates back on. Some outlets were white some cream, some covers were brown and over 50 years old. You will see from the photos, after Blandings "was done" and requesting payment. However first the inspector came in and checked off all the things they were supposed to do and didn't. Blandings had to come back and correct everything. Not only did they not do much of the work, they overcharges for what they did do. 2 guys, $42.50 an hour for a total of 40 hours to change 24 outlets, 4 motion flood lights and 2 bathroom fixtures. See photo of portion of bill. I could have done this myself in less than 8 hours with help from YouTube. This was a grant project, and I feel confident in saying they took advantage of that fact.

It is unfair to comment about Ecker Electrical. My location is pseudo rural, with a small…read morepopulation. That means that plumbers, electricians, etc. tend to be distant. I tested Yelp to get an electrician and got Ecker Electrical a few hours from my location. Ecker Electrical is a new company, and the primary electrician is NYS-code certified and highly competent. He had excessive expensive travel costs and a personal loss that were unanticipated. That said the actual work was spread over a longer period than we expected and quite inconvenient. But the work was excellent, and the project was completed exactly as we desired. I would recommend Ecker electrical if there was no excessive travel time to get to the worksite.

The problem was serious enough that hydraulic fluid went through the brake system and over filled the front differential. This was shortly after the Oct 31 storm that left us 5 1/2 inches of rain. We had severe damage to some roads and could not be without a loader. I made a phone call to Keith McGovern in the sales dept. and that same afternoon he informed me that another loader was on the way. We could use this loader until ours was fixed! We never had to use the borrowed loader because , at the same time Keith was helping us Milton Cat's service dept. was also involved with our huge problem. Within three hours of my phone call a service tech. was at our location. His name is Kyle Trombley and he is a very professional and energetic young man. Within 2 1\2 hrs. Kyle had removed the entire front differential from the machine. The next morning he came back with a new differential, and our loader was running by 10 AM. I know there were more folks behind the scene that were involved in this service. I thank you all, and would highly recommend you to anyone.
