I had become increasingly dissatisfied over the last few years but continued coming because this was the office I had always gone to. This experience was the final straw. I scheduled an appointment online on August 13th, largely because getting someone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. I received appointment reminders on August 14th and August 18th. On August 18th, the office also called me to confirm my appointment. I spoke directly with someone and confirmed it. On August 21st, I arrived 15 minutes early for my 3:00 PM appointment. At check-in, I was told they were running behind and it would be a while. I said, "Wonderful," and sat down. I wasn't upset about waiting--I expected it. Five minutes later, I was called back to the desk and told I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT because it had been canceled for failure to confirm. I explained that was impossible. I had received multiple reminders AND personally spoke with someone from their office to confirm it. Instead of acknowledging that something clearly went wrong on their end, I was told the phone conversation never happened. Then today, August 28th--SEVEN DAYS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT--I received a text from Primary Eye Care saying my August 21st appointment at 3:00 PM had been canceled. So which is it? I was turned away on August 21st because I supposedly didn't have an appointment because it had already been canceled. Yet seven days later, their own system sent me confirmation that the appointment existed and was just now being canceled. Afterward, I learned that they did essentially the same thing to my mom only a few weeks earlier. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is refusing to take accountability, wasting a patient's time, and telling them a phone conversation they personally had with your office never occurred. After being a longtime patient, Primary Eye Care has permanently lost my business and my family's business. Your patients' time matters. Your patients deserve to be listened to. And when your office makes a mistake, own it instead of making the patient feel like they're the problem. I strongly recommend others consider their options before choosing this office.

I picked up my new glasses and was able to see less with them on than I could without them. So I went back to Eyeglass World and they rechecked my eyes and gave me a different prescription. Apparently my eyes improved in the week that it took to get my new glasses because the new prescription is not as strong as the first one. So then they billed my insurance for another eye exam and another pair of glasses. The new glasses I can see better than the original but they are still not right. I went back to using my glasses from 2 years ago just to see decent. They are crooks there. I don't think they have any idea what they are doing and they don't honor their work

Number one, the practice is not handicapped accessible and quite dangerous for seniors with mobility issues and others with disabilities. From the narrow parking lot to the very narrow and steep ramp leading to the front door and the heavy front doors, it's just plain dangerous for seniors to navigate. Their equipment is from the 1960s, and my mother was actually told, when she was asked to lay her head back she was told that the chair was broken and didn't have a head support, and yet Dr Yoon apparently drives a brand new Tesla.
