They told me that they would have given me the same prescription. The problem apparently is with the lab. The front office personnel tried several times to adjust the frames to no avail. I finally quit wearing the new ones and went back to my old ones. My old ones were pretty much equal for distance which begs the question: did I really need new glasses at all? Also, if I can see my computer and read clearly with my old glasses, why can't their lab make comparable lenses? Basically, I wasted $1000. I would recommend them for an exam, but take your prescription elsewhere to have your lenses made.

Apparently my eyes improved in the week that it took to get my new glasses because the new prescription is not as strong as the first one. So then they billed my insurance for another eye exam and another pair of glasses. The new glasses I can see better than the original but they are still not right. I went back to using my glasses from 2 years ago just to see decent. They are crooks there. I don't think they have any idea what they are doing and they don't honor their work

Got multiple bids from several companies. Really wanted to patronize a local business. Superficially, it looked like other, big box businesses, were less expensive. Upon closer inspection -- not necessarily. For example, some only took down make and model of vehicle, not VIN number. Turns out windshields get upgraded, too, with vehicle upgrades. Roscoe Glass wanted the VIN, right from the start. Roscoe Glass quoted a price, explained process. Gracious. Zero pressure. Big box companies had some deceptive practices going on. Later some hounded me. (Wanna bet they sold my info, too?) After several days of checking out different versions, decided Roscoe Glass was most confidence inspiring. They had next day apptmts. Excellent. They had kept all the info from the first call. Nice. Took vehicle in the next day. Excellent repair. They explained windshield had been replaced before. There were some problems with how that had been done. As such, there was a small difference on the current windshield installation. Ok, thank you. Thorough. But now comes the magic. I go out to my vehicle. Front door will not unlock. Not with fob, not with key. All others open. Oh dear. What happened? Went back into store. A technician came and checked. He thought something had come loose. (Literally completely incidentally. Not their fault. They had done nothing on the driver side window.) They took the vehicle back into shop. They took the door apart, reattached whatever had come loose. Did not charge extra. Who does this any more? I will not go anywhere else for windshields or glass anything.
