When it was time to pick up my glasses, Jane was the one who gave them to me and I figured nothing could go wrong with that, but she used a regular Kleenex to clean the lenses which left debris all over them, when I mentioned it to her and asked if she had something else, she let out a loud frustrated sigh, literally THREW my glasses case onto the desk, and stormed off to the lab to clean them. It was the one interaction I had with her today, and it was the end of the world for her. Don't deal with Jane. I looked at her name tag just to write this review.

The manager helped us (I forgot her name) and she was helpful, and nice, as were the employees we dealt with that day. All three pairs were made in 30 minutes. (it's quick turnaround if they have the lenses in stock). We got texts letting us know and when we got the third text we headed back to pick them up. They noticed some sort of issue with one pair in the meantime and were already remaking them when we arrived so we waited a few more minutes but we are happy they caught the issue before we left. I will go there when I need new glasses.

I had become increasingly dissatisfied over the last few years but continued coming because this was the office I had always gone to. This experience was the final straw. I scheduled an appointment online on August 13th, largely because getting someone to answer the phone is nearly impossible. I received appointment reminders on August 14th and August 18th. On August 18th, the office also called me to confirm my appointment. I spoke directly with someone and confirmed it. On August 21st, I arrived 15 minutes early for my 3:00 PM appointment. At check-in, I was told they were running behind and it would be a while. I said, "Wonderful," and sat down. I wasn't upset about waiting--I expected it. Five minutes later, I was called back to the desk and told I DIDN'T HAVE AN APPOINTMENT because it had been canceled for failure to confirm. I explained that was impossible. I had received multiple reminders AND personally spoke with someone from their office to confirm it. Instead of acknowledging that something clearly went wrong on their end, I was told the phone conversation never happened. Then today, August 28th--SEVEN DAYS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT--I received a text from Primary Eye Care saying my August 21st appointment at 3:00 PM had been canceled. So which is it? I was turned away on August 21st because I supposedly didn't have an appointment because it had already been canceled. Yet seven days later, their own system sent me confirmation that the appointment existed and was just now being canceled. Afterward, I learned that they did essentially the same thing to my mom only a few weeks earlier. Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is refusing to take accountability, wasting a patient's time, and telling them a phone conversation they personally had with your office never occurred. After being a longtime patient, Primary Eye Care has permanently lost my business and my family's business. Your patients' time matters. Your patients deserve to be listened to. And when your office makes a mistake, own it instead of making the patient feel like they're the problem. I strongly recommend others consider their options before choosing this office.

I was so happy to have an economical solution for my prescription sunglasses! I walked out the door with my sunglasses in less then an hour for less than $50. The service was great! James really went out of his way to help me and my new sunglasses are super cute.

I show up and first thing she tells me is that they don't take insurance and would need to pay $79 upfront, I explain to her I have used Stanton optical before and I know that's not true. I tell her I have VSP and they have accepted it before. She then tells me that they will take it but I will have to do all the work to submit my claim. I then pull up the website and read to her that's not what the website says it says it's out of network but you still take the benefit and help submit the claim on my behalf. Angel then starts yelling at me and telling me that I am a fing idiot and she doesn't help people who don't help themselves and cancels my appointment.
