Apparently my eyes improved in the week that it took to get my new glasses because the new prescription is not as strong as the first one. So then they billed my insurance for another eye exam and another pair of glasses. The new glasses I can see better than the original but they are still not right. They noticed some sort of issue with one pair in the meantime and were already remaking them when we arrived so we waited a few more minutes but we are happy they caught the issue before we left. They told me that they would have given me the same prescription. The problem apparently is with the lab. The front office personnel tried several times to adjust the frames to no avail. I finally quit wearing the new ones and went back to my old ones. My old ones were pretty much equal for distance which begs the question: did I really need new glasses at all? Also, if I can see my computer and read clearly with my old glasses, why can't their lab make comparable lenses? Basically, I wasted $1000.
