She came to our house to meet all the babies on 2 separate occasions prior to the actual start of pet sitting. She recommended staying with our crew as easier on them (and her), and it was a fantastic idea. She sent us pictures and videos of everyone and communicated what the babies were up to daily while we were away. We did not worry AT ALL while we were gone. The peace of mind was priceless. The staff here has always been friendly on my visits. I did have to wait a few minutes when I dropped off my dogs this past week, and that was because they were outside with the dogs. (Not a problem at all!) While I don't doubt that some people have had some not-so-great experiences here, I also know that many of the negative reviews center on cost. This place is not cheap. Neither are any other boarding joints that I am aware of. But I have never worried about their condition while I have been away.

After spending two weeks with Pawsitive Care, and then doing day training with them for a week, she has improved so much! She's learned to walk on her leash and stay beside me waiting for me to let her know when to walk or stop, she can literally shake off her anxiety when she gets too keyed up, and she's learned to stop jumping and sit to wait for pets instead of climbing all over you. I've used her countless times and she always shows up when she says she will. She also puts up with my absentmindedness like when I forgot my lock broke and she didn't have access to the apartment. She went to the office and got a key in to my place knowing my cat needed some TLC when I was unavailable to help because I was in a meeting. Also I had to leave town when my car was having some health issues. Jennifer had no problem with the possibility of taking her to the vet. I have several pets. I breed cats. Needless to say I am fussy about who sits for my babies when I…read moream away. Brenda has been there for me for the last several years and allowed me to take my vacations in peace. Be it my pug who needs medicine or a mama cat sitting on babies, Brenda has handled it all. I know that I can leave and Brenda will handle the emergencies without becoming unglued and the routine with amazing detail. Case in point: one of my breeder girls was in heat and was scratching herself to the point of breaking skin. Brenda called my vet and determined it was not an emergency (it was not). She administered first aid and placed a bandage made of a clean sock on the area. Ingeneous! She then informed me via email of the problem and let me know what was going on. I told her that it was exactly what I would have done (it was) and went back to my vacation knowing that Fiona was in good hands. When I returned Fiona was healed and the sock had prevented further damage to her skin. I was one happy customer. Another example is her ability to administer routine medications to my little pug, Thor. I left town knowing that Thor was getting his daily heart meds and was grateful because of it. At our initial consultation, Brenda came for a home visit and took extensive notes on care preferences and re: how and where to enter and park. She keeps these notes on file so she has them handy, even if it's been a few months, and confirms that the info she has is current whenever I call to schedule visits. Brenda is: 1. Reliable 2. Affordable 3. Available on weekends and HOLIDAYS (she even sat for me on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day!!!) Recently, one of my two cats was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which now requires him to take daily medication. Brenda was familiar with the condition and, though I was nervous about leaving my sweet fur baby for the first time since his diagnosis, I knew he was in good hands. Brenda leaves a handwritten note at the conclusion of each period for which she checks on my cats, providing a full report on their visits. They are always well-adjusted when I return home. I'm not sure if she sends text updates, but I've never asked because I've always trusted that my cats are in good hands while I'm away.
