I've been shopping at Wig Types in Long Island for a while now and I can confidently say they're one of the best places for hair care and products. What I love most is their efficiency. If you place your order before 5 PM Eastern, they ship it out the same day. It's so convenient, especially when you need products fast. They also have a huge range of items. I'm always finding new things to try. Plus, there's usually a sale going on which makes everything super affordable. I'm not sure if I've ever used a coupon, but honestly, the prices are so reasonable that I don't really need one. Another thing I appreciate is their customer service. There have been a couple of instances where I wasn't shipped everything I ordered or something didn't arrive. When I reached out they didn't ask for proof they just refunded me, no hassle at all. That's a level of customer care that you don't see everywhere. Made continuous orders for 6+ years and during the course, this business shipped various faulty and low quality wigs/extensions. As of recently the company shipped out again a sub-standard item twice. On this occasion a complaint had to be submitted. WigTypes requested that the item be returned at customers expense and that they would apply stocking fee charge, this was them not accepting fault. After a dramatic fuss, they decided to issue a returns label. Furthermore, they didn't initially refund accurate, so an additional request for the full accurate fees had to be requested. They didn't like that, so they began to refuse orders. Wigtypes.com needs to improve its customer service approach or just don't function as a business! It must be a struggling business to treat customers the way it does. WigTypes needs to perform better quality checks of its inventory and stop refusing orders, it's not a solution. read more

This place is horrible. They sent me two human hair wigs that cost over $100 each. The wig's tangled and matted together. I think they put poor quality hair wigs in the boxes and pass them off as higher quality hair wigs. The guy was rude on the phone. They would not refund me for the wigs. They would not send the wigs back without a return label and they blocked my account. If you buy anything from them make sure you get what you pay for. read more

I ordered items from wig types and received my package April 30, 2022. When I received my package one item was missing which was the Cococare jojoba oil. I was going to contact them about the order and I found my shipping receipt on it stated $6.99 crossed out the item and states refund 3-5 business days. I threw the box out and receipt thinking okay no problem I'll receive my refund it's past 3-5 business days. I contacted Wig types their phone is not working so I emailed them May 9, 2022. When I emailed customer service instead of checking the system they questioned me " Who told you that we'd give you a refund!" "Who said we didn't have the item!" and stated "They don't write on shipping receipts!" Yes I made a mistake throwing out the proof of receipt will never ever take a leap of faith again but they are highly unprofessional. I don't care if I paid $3.00 for an item if the item is out of stock or wasn't given you offer the refund and you write it in the system. That's very unprofessional of them to write on a receipt now I'm under the impression even if I did have the receipt I'd get the run around getting the refund. The worst customer service on earth. I called because they kept reversing my order,( NOT my credit card company ) because their incompetent system has my addess incorrect. I tried to speak to Julio(who I should have know was not capable of talking on the phone due to how he answered it.) who had no type of customer service skill, telling me to call back & talk to a supervisor because they don't return calls. What type of retail do you work in that does not handle customer service calls. Moreover this poor excuse dropped the F bomb & his Co-worker tried to defend him. Horrible company. Overpriced wigs - substandard quality. No customer service phone communication whatsoever. I received an email stating "our phones are down". Seriously - ALL THE TIME? Most businesses would have their phones working in a day or two. Also, if you need to return a unit, you pay for shipping and they charge a 20% restocking fee. Pass them up and shop elsewhere. The wigs are good! And the prices are just so-so. But seriously, the communication is TERRIBLE. Their website claims that they will respond within sixty seconds, not true, Each time I attempted to communicate with this business they did not respond. In my opinion they need to improve their customer service. When you pay they take the money right away, and charge a high price for expedited shipping. I've been ordering my wigs, drawstring ponytails, bulk hair, braiding hair, crochet hair and other hair products from wig types for about 4 years now. I use to buy my hair from the beauty supply store, I no longer do that. Wig types, hair is always a good price and are always $10-40 cheaper than the bss and some other online stores. They pretty much guarantee, if you place your order that day by 4-5 o'clock (depending on your time zone), it'll be shipped out that day. I'm in Chicago, Illinois(my time to be ship out same day is 4 o'clock) and they always ship my package right out and you'll get a tracking number by 7 that night, if you placed your order by that time. I always place my order by 4 and I have always received my package from them, in 2 business days. Yessss, I mean always got my package in 2 business days!!!!
