The day before my appointment I became super stressed upon discovering my job scheduled me to work. I called trying to see if they could schedule me that day and Jackie, the receptionist, managed to fit me in last minute. Fate or not, I was incredibly grateful for their accommodation. I did not manage to see Dr. Nicholas Martin, but the doctor on staff treated me just as well. The reviews did not disappoint! She asked me questions about the wedding, what dress I was wearing, and how I felt about a shade before she put it on. She wants you to feel comfortable and the makeup to look natural. She is very patient and kind. At one point, she told me to open my eyes and one of my eyes was red. She said she it was strange that only one eye turned red, since she applied the same exact eye shadow and liner to both eyes. Maybe some eye shadow particles fell in my eye, but I didn't feel anything. She was nervous, but she quickly reacted and got eye drops to apply to my eye. She stopped and waited for the eye drops to reduce the redness in my eyes. I had a hair appointment next door and she went over to inform the hair stylist that I was going to be late. It all turned out well and the redness in my eyes disappeared, thankfully! I would definitely come back again and have Sheila do my makeup again. Prices are fair and you really get great service.

A few employees provided suggestions on products suitable for my hair type. Most employees were wearing masks, the interior was clean, and a plastic barrier protected the cashier from the shopper. COVID-19 safety protocols were definitely in place. However, some products were so grossly overpriced that I recommend comparison shopping. They said they will send fed ex to me today to pick it up. I waited 8 hours, and could not leave my living room all day or even shower because I might miss fed ex coming. So tonight they came. And after a wasted day, I was told that they cannot make a label for the package as Nordstrom didnt tell them ( fed ex) to make a label for a return. So i had to call Nordstorm, which merely took two whole hours, because now they have a bot answering. I got a woman on the line by 9 pm. Had to explain this and then wait a whole hour for her to make a new appointment for fed ex to come to me Monday. I dont drive or I would go in person to return but it is a $300 taxi ride from me. If they even come to pick up the tiny dress, ( I hold Nordstrom responsible, not fed ex) I am so done with Nordstrom, the place where I bought all my clothes for the past 10 years. Never again, they are the worst. They used to put a label into every package and maybe once a year I returned something that did not fit, but it was there if you needed it. Now, no label, no human answering when you call, and when people come on the line, they do not know how to tell you to make a return, they dont know, or they screw it up, like with my return. NOTE: I am editing my review. This is almost 2 1/2 weeks after i reviewed Nordstrom. they did send me another Fed Ex pickup for the tiny dress,and I sent it back with the fed ex pickup they gave me. But the lying thieves at the store will not confirm that they received it, which is nuts because they arranged for the pickup, not me. It takes only about 3 days for them to receive the return from me. So now it is nearly 3 weeks. But will they refund me and tell me they received my dress? NO they will not. So far, I haven't had any issues shopping here. My only complaint is that they removed the dedicated online order return/pickup area, which I really liked. It's now located on the third floor in a much smaller space. One major plus is their generous 365-day return and exchange policy. However, I did read my Yelp friend Tracy K's review about a dress malfunction that wasn't properly handled by the store, which was disappointing. I've witnessed her go above and beyond for customers. Shes even been helpful to me. I just have to bring this to someone attention. Ar least 4 times I've witnessed her asking customers for gifts. Now even if she's just kidding which from what I saw it didn't look like she was, she needs to stop begging customers for gifts. She work's there she gets paid abd that should be the end of it. Even if she's friendly with regular customers that come there all the time it doesn't give her the right. When I saw it this last time last week ( I just didn't have the time to post about it) It rubbed me the wrong way, enough is nought. I don't want her to get in trouble but she needs to be reprimanded about begging customers for gifts. Just ring people up and keep it moving. She is very good at that and she needs to stick with just that.
