Outrageously bad service at the pharmacy. My Dr. submitted a prescription several days ago. I CAN NOT GET ANY INFORMATION AS TO WHY IT'S NOT READY. "The automated system" tells me that it's being "reviewed by the pharmacist" WHATEVER that means. I cannot get ANYONE to answer the phone. I have called several times. The phone rings, someone pick up briefly and puts you on hold again...THREE TIMES ALREADY. I am on hold as we speak. 12 MINUTES AND COUNTING. Do NOT use this "Pharmacy" for your prescriptions, they SUCK. read more

I always feel very welcomed. Heera (register) rang me up on my visit on Dec 15 2023. My first time seeing her. Guessing a new addition to the ROCKSTAR staff. Teresa (pharmacist) as usual a delight. I showed her my new purse and said "I'm waiting for your call". We all started laughing. My purse is actually an old fashion phone ring dial phone purse w/the actual handle and of course it's pink. Teresa says "you always come here with amazing things" Barbie. Lol. Said hello to Candy as well. Basically everyone I saw. Since it's the season for giving. Like clockwork I come with gifts for the pharmacy staff. Got them a 125 mixed candy pack for them to share. I bring them gifts 3 times a year. * 1st week of Oct- Pharmacy Month * Oct - Halloween * Xmas Once again they are all AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING . Walgreens - Call me. ;) - Drugstores Near Me - Garden City Park, New York

The service at this photo center is terrible and unprofessional. I waited for almost 20 minutes without any service, while employees walked past me. The person who ended up helping me had the nastiest and most condescending attitude. On a positive note, it is a big store and stocked with many items. Specifically, they had some adorable Valentine's Day items. I do not recommend the photo center, but shopping here is recommended for other items. read more

I was pretty devastated. I ordered a big, expensive print job for a friend's birthday from this location and they messed it up. The Photo department was MIA for hours, so I was frustrated. I got in touch with Kay, the store manager, who provided a solution and stayed on the phone with me for thirty minutes until he said he would fix it, so I appreciated that. So I wanted to shout out to him for his wonderful service, but in the end, he didn't do what he said he would do. I went to the store twice with my stuff not printed properly, and being asked by the staff to pay for it, too. Kay let me down. I hope the department becomes more organized and attentive, that they learn to answer the phone and not hang up on you, and that they improve their service, because today they wasted my time. read more

I waited a long time before staff answered phone. They were supposed to answer a question and I was told to hold on. I then hear phone ringing and it eventually turned into a dial tone. I wasn't surprised that I was disconnected. The person "helping " me seemed like she didn't remember what I was asking her to check on, although I repeated it several times. This is the closest Walgreens. The Walgreens in Mineola is better than this location. read more

Walgreens. Like CVS and Rite-Aid, Walgreens seems to be more interested / geared towards selling food and beverages. I get the flier, I see some actual things I might need to buy and they never, ever have them available. This is repeated at every Walgreens location so far so it is not an issue of poor management at the store level. The flier contains maybe 10-12 pages of advertisement, with 4-6 of them being for food- indeed. Maybe take some of the food out of the store and replace it with sale items and you might be of some use Walgreens! Large parking lot on the side. read more

Horrible customer service. Every employee seems annoyed to help you. They have no business being an authorized FedEx location either. When you can beg someone to help you they don't understand how to use the FedEx package scanner. Today at 1:00pm the employee told me to just leave the FedEx package. He asked me if I knew the tracking number so that he could scan it later. What???? When I said no & that I needed it scanned, he lied to me and told me FedEx had already picked up and my package wouldn't go out until Monday anyway. I took my package back & left. I've yet to find one helpful person in this store. If they hate their jobs so much they should go work elsewhere! The FedEx / photo section is also filthy. read more

I usually use Google Photos but I decided to give Walgreens a try. Ordered an cube ornament and a print book of our baby for my mother. The ornament came out as ordered. However, the print book was an absolute disaster. They cut the head off half - yes half - of the pictures. Either they didn't care to look or looked at the prints before telling me to pic it up and thought "hey that's ok". Either way, very poor quality control. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

There's nothing particularly special about this Walgreens. I recently used their photo service to print photos out (who does that anymore?!) and I wasn't too happy with the price, I should have researched it a bit more. They do have a nice big parking lot but their entrance/exit on Nassau Blvd. plugs up traffic sometimes. They also have a pharmacy. I would write a longer review but I don't really know what needs to be said. It's a drugstore, it's got stuff in it, and check the circular for weekly deals. read more

Walgreens. You'll find you're everyday average walgreens stuff in here. The first time I came in here was to take my passport picture. I waited a while but the kid was SUPER apologetic and I could tell he really did feel bad for having me waiting ( it was about 10 minutes..which is long when it's in the middle of the day and there was like NOTHING else for him to be doing). The staff is pretty nice. Everyone was saying hello and asking why I was just standing there infront of the photo section. Paged the kid a few times too. Any other time they have all been friendly and they usually have whatever I'm looking for. Can't beat that. read more

Whether my sentiments are diametrically opposed to those of the FTR or if conditions have exacerbated remains to be seen, but to paraphrase the unparalleled Adrian Monk, this be how it went dizzown: There's a big-ass area stocked to the brim with milk and other American staples. There's Motown grooves boomin' down in a futile attempt to allay the personalities and inevitable latency of an insufferably long line, facilitated by a single employee running the joint. 'Are you on liiiineeee?' snapped by an old woman, as folks professionally cut (in front of) their co-shoppers, enveloped by haphazardly charming piles of jumbled processed foodstuffs at "bargain" rates. Most folks behind me seemed to be regulars, all griping that this one-worker-per-20-customers thang ain't news (yet they return). The persistent issue was aggravated further by nasty clientele trying to rile up the admittedly understaffed fella behind the counter; even if he was cool through it all and did his darndest to plow through the wait, management needs to take a hint. read more

I have to admit I have mixed emotions about this Walgreens. The staff here is very nice and the lines aren't usually long but at a recent visit I was quite disturbed when I found expired cereal. I've work retail before so I understand there isn't always time to check every product's expiration date but to have cereal that expired in December 2014 when its June 2016, isn't acceptable by any standards. I know inventory is done once a year and you're telling me no one has checked the expiration dates for over a year and a half?!? And it wasn't like it was one or two individual packs ... I found 4! The sad part is, the ones that I noticed were not all the way in the back, they were the ones right in the front so it's not like I was digging for them. When I brought the cereals to the cashier to let her know I found expired cereal and to let the manager know to check the inventory, she gave me a look like I was crazy. So if you're going to shop here ... check the expiration dates on food. read more

Store is an easily accessible place and has plenty of parking. Aisles are clearly marked and there are no issues finding what you need. This store is exceptionally clean and neat. There's no cartons or boxes laying around even when the staff is restocking items. Manager seems to be a nice friendly guy who's always available to help. read more

The photo center in this Walgreens is much better than some in other Walgreens. I came in and they found my order quickly and I paid. At a different Walgreens it took 3 people to find my order and it was annoying. The store also looked neat. read more
