Very large selection of wigs to choose from! All kinds of lengths, styles, and colors it was interesting I enjoyed looking at all of them.

I was reading the reviews on here and I just want to add what I experienced. This was years ago. My mom lost her hair due to chemo. Bobbie was very helpful. She took the time helping mom find the perfect wig. We did have to make an appointment. The reason you have to make an appointment is because of privacy. It's only her with her one client. Bobbie takes her time with each client because not only do you purchase a wig, but she fits it to your head perfectly. She will customize it for you on the spot, and she will cut it to your liking, and style it the way you want it styled. She was very kind And understanding. She shared with us about how she started her business. She's very informative of how to take care of the wigs, what to do , what not to do. She made my mother feel very comfortable. There was no rush. We were there for a couple hours and learned a lot. My mother ended up buying four wigs from wig Palace throughout 5 years. I also read someone stating they're expensive and you can purchase cheaper online. The reason why you can get them online cheaper is because they're not custom fit to your head. Bobbie will stitch and size the cap of the wig so it fits your head perfectly. She places it on your head, cuts it, and styles it. She shows you how to take care of it, you're paying for her expertise, knowledge and her time as well. All the wigs were beautiful you couldn't even tell they were wigs. My mom had a favorite one she always wore and she always received compliments on. So I would definitely recommend Wig Palace to anyone who is in need of a wig with no hesitation. Brought my neighbor here for scalp prostheses. We was a little nervous, reading one of the reviews, but when we came in here, we completely understood why the rules were made this place is very elegant, if you want to be pampered and tended to like a beauty queen come here you will sit she will pick the best color and length for your complexion she customize it to your fitting. The owner was rude and got upset if the client touched any of her wigs. If she wanted to sell a certain wig, she would have the client try it on and then she would put a bad wig on next and then put on the wig she wanted to sell back on so it would look better in comparison to the really bad wig. On a couple of occasions her friends would pop in and tell me how great a wig I was trying on looked. It was all a set up to sell... Too bad there isn't a better wig store around. Is this any way to treat a cancer patient? My mom is a cancer patient who asked me to take her to buy a wig since she has lost her hair from her cancer treatment. She is in Lodi for treatment and so we were happy to hear about the Wig Palace. I contacted the owner on a Monday before going there to ask what hours they are open. She said until 6:00pm and I said I would be coming in that Wednesday (2 days later) and she said "fine". We went and arrived at 5:10pm (after my mom's follow up appt. with her Lung Specialist) and I went in to see if there was ample room for my mom's wheelchair. I saw the owner, who looked up but did not greet me and explained I called her on Monday and brought my mom and was just checking on wheelchair spaciousness when she said "Oh, I have an appt at 5:30, I can't let you come in, I have to leave". I replied "What? I called you, you said you closed at 6pm, what time is it now?" She answered "5:25pm" (when I left, I looked at my cell phone, which said 5:15pm so obviously we arrived around 5:10pm and the proprietor lied). She went on to say "I don't like doing this kind of thing, I have an appt." I explained that I was the one who called for my mom, she's a cancer patient but the proprietor was adamant. At this point I'm not going to beg her to stay open so said to her "Way to treat a cancer patient!" and I walked out the door. When I got to my car, my mom was pretty upset at the news she couldn't go in and get a wig (she thought she had the better part of an hour to pick one out) and then the proprietor followed me out saying "Okay, fine, I can make a call and see if I can change my appt." but at that point I didn't really want to give her our business. I shouldn't have to beg someone to spend my hard earned money in their establishment! read more

Don't believe the negative reviews, this place and the owner Bobbie are fantastic. My mother who was needing a wig after starting chemo, had been recommended to the shop. We arrived thinking we would just look around as we didn't make an appointment, but luckily the previous appointment was finishing up and there was plenty of time before the shop closed. The selection was great and Bobbi treated her first client and my mom with respect and patience. She let my mom try on many and we ended up getting the last one she showed us and we never felt rushed or forced into a purchase. She also helped with styling, teaching how to care for the wig and help with navigating the stressful task of billing for the prosthesis. Included in the price is a fitting and adjustment for styling and it was worth every penny seeing my mom feel beautiful and confident. Some things to consider when reading the negative reviews about the shop... -This is a wig store that services MANY men and women that need a wig for a variety of reasons, many cancer. It is for many, a very humbling, sometimes embarrassing and private moment. Bobbie takes the time to give individual attention to the person she is servicing, so make an appointment! Our appointment took well over an hour so walking in less than an hour before close with no appointment is not a good idea. Trust me your loved one doesn't want a crowd watching them try wigs on. - You are not paying just for a wig. You are paying for Bobbies 30 plus years of experience in the industry. She does just sell them, she works with you, pictures you bring in and ideas, carefully matching a style, a color and cut. She will order it, and customize it to exactly what you want, so stop with saying they are overpriced. Her knowledge is invaluable . - If you are coming just to try on wigs for fun, this is not the place for you. It's not a place for you to put your hands all over the products. She makes sure each client puts on a clean, well kept wig and she does that by not letting just anyone throw one on and I for one appreciated that my mom wasn't trying on a dirty wig. Other reviews about the owner are very accurate. She was rude to us when we came by. She was very pushy. She let us try on 1 wig that we requested then brought another and said this was the best one for my mother who has cancer and REFUSED to help us when we asked to see more wigs. Please note that these wigs are extremely expensive.. It was like she was backing us into a corner. We decided not to buy it and she gave us a card for "Look good, Feel better" besides the pushy and rudeness, the wig palace has the potential to be a great shop since there is little competition around. there is a wide selection also read more

Just got home from The Wig Palace....Had taken a new wig over to have it styled and an adjustment to the cap as I have a very small head....The wig looked like a blob of hair when taken out of the box but when Bobbie, the owner, was finished with it, I not only had a darling hair style and the wig fit perfect.....No one would ever have known it was a wig...I would recommend The Wig Palace to all my friends and to all women who now wear wigs... I was referred by a friend to The Wig Palace. The owner was not friendly at all. I was getting ready to do my chemo for breast cancer. She was uncomfortable with me trying on wigs without her assistance. My wig was $401.00 ~ which my nurses from Kaiser showed me a web site, with the same wig for $183.00. Shes way over priced and taking advantaged of cancer patients. I will NEVER GO BACK! RIP OFF!! She truly has no people skills. Service was terrible! read more

I just had my first experience with the Wig Palace and I have to say I was very happy. I have worn wigs off and on for many years, and the one purchased from the Wig Palace is by far the most comfortable and best looking wig I have had. Contrary to other reviewers I found the owner to be very friendly. She was professional - making helpful suggestions without being pushy at all.
