However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

I cannot express enough how incredibly frustrating and disappointing our experience with Arlington…read moreOrthopedics has been. The only positive thing I can say about this practice is that Dr. Rodriguez is an absolutely amazing doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely great at what he does. Unfortunately, the staff and care team surrounding him have made this one of the worst experiences we have EVER had with a medical provider. The level of disorganization, lack of communication, and complete disregard for patient needs is honestly unacceptable. Orders are repeatedly sent to the wrong locations, prescription orders are never sent as they should be, and trying to get anyone to correct these issues or provide even the most basic assistance is nearly impossible. These are not minor inconveniences. These are issues that directly impact a patient's ability to receive timely and appropriate medical care. Good luck trying to get someone on the phone. The care team line goes straight to voicemail, only for you to be told that the mailbox is full. When you attempt to call the main office for assistance, you are either hung up on or transferred right back to the same care team line that DOES NOT WORK. It is a never-ending cycle of being passed around with absolutely no resolution, accountability, or concern for the patient. What makes this experience even more upsetting is the complete lack of patient-focused care. There is no sense of urgency, no attention to detail, no willingness to help, and seemingly no understanding that patients are relying on this office to coordinate important aspects of their medical treatment. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase down prescriptions, track down orders, or practically beg someone to answer the phone and do their job. This is, without question, the worst experience we have ever had with a medical provider's staff. It is incredibly unfortunate because Dr. Rodriguez truly deserves better representation from the team supporting him. A great physician can only do so much when the people responsible for coordinating patient care consistently fail to follow through. No matter how wonderful a doctor may be, it is simply not worth being treated this poorly or having to fight this hard to receive basic medical assistance. I sincerely hope Dr. Rodriguez and the leadership at Arlington Orthopedics take these concerns seriously because the current level of service is unacceptable. Patients deserve to be heard, respected, and supported throughout their care, not ignored, dismissed, or left without answers. Dr. Rodriguez deserves five stars. Unfortunately, the experience with his staff and care team makes it incredibly difficult to recommend this practice to anyone.

We were contacted two months ago and told that my mother had overpaid by $300 and that a check would be mailed to her in 30-40 days. They verified her address. Now it has been over 60 days. I called the office today and was told that it was still being processed, "you know, they have to verify the mailing address, print the checks, and sign the checks, but they are really behind." I cannot imagine that it takes that long to process a check once you already have verification of the mailing address. The office clerk also said that there were many patients in this process. Really? How is that you overcharged so many people? If I owed a payment to AOA, I'm sure I would be penalized if I was more than 60 days late with the payment, but I doubt we will get any interest for AOA holding my mother's money for months. And, State law and Texas Medical Association requires that repayments of overcharges be return within 30 days to the patient. This is very poor office management for AOA.

I inquired with the nurses about pain medication but was told that they couldn't give me anything without an actual diagnosis when I was confused about why my husband elbowed me in the ribs and told me about junkies. It never occurred to me... They did recommend the heat/cold packs and OTC medications though, I thanked them but those hadn't been helping as I'd been trying them already. It took a total of three visits before I got a diagnosis, which was very frustrating. The first visit included the X-Ray, the second was the MRI only and the third was the conclusion with the doctor. I'd had inflammation, for an unknown reason as there was no actual injury, and then I got a steroid injection. I'm now 95% pain-free from not being able to move my dominant arm without severe pain going from the time I wake up to the time I finally fell asleep. I'd even wake up in the middle of the night because I'd moved wrong and it made the shoulder angry. Dr. Harris recommended a specific Physical Therapy office (Premier Rehab Physical Therapy, I chose the one in Keller) and thank goodness he did because I LOVE THEM. Hopefully by the end of my rehab I'll be back to where I should be. Only time will tell. Dr. Harris doesn't beat around the bush, he isn't in a hurry but he gets down to business. He explains things in a way that's easy to understand and gives a good expectation of what should happen. While I hope I don't ever need to see him again, I will go back and I will refer friends and family should they need him.
