I ruptured my Achilles' tendon and I went to see Dr. Michael Nguyen, MD. He is a very knowledgeable, kind and helpful doctor.

Dr Taylor is very knowledgeable and in diagnosing my neuropathy when others couldn't. He explained each procedure and all the outcomes when dealing with nerves. it was nice going thru each step knowing what to expect, if anything. I have already referred him and his office staff to family members and friend.

Dr. Taylor performed a plantar fasciotomy in February 2025. Immediately after surgery, I…read moreexperienced loss of sensation in my foot along with significant nerve pain. I raised these concerns at multiple follow-up visits but was repeatedly told everything was "on plan" and that I was "right on trajectory," without any guidance or plan to address the numbness. My concerns were not reflected in my medical records as discussed during appointments. When symptoms did not improve, I sought out another physician on my own in an effort to regain feeling. While there was brief initial interest, there was no follow-up or coordination of care. A year later, I still do not have normal sensation and continue to experience considerable nerve pain. I have since transferred care to a highly regarded orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon, who is now evaluating whether a nerve injury may have occurred. My experience was that when complications arose, I did not feel supported or guided through next steps. I would encourage patients to ask detailed questions about post-operative complications and follow-up care before proceeding. I would not return for care. This has significantly impacted my quality of life. Resident in Grapevine, TX. Not sure why it says elsewhere.

I explained i know all the exercises, i regularly ice and compress the arch, wear supports and expensive shoes for plantar fasciitis and have super strong anti inflammatories which help me get through the day. I explained the only thing that temporarily works is steroids, but the pain comes right back days after completing the steroids. This went in one year and out the other. Guess what, I was given steroids and anti-inflammatories and was told I needed to buy THEIR inserts, and boot because theirs was better. I have the same strappy boot at home. I was told to come back in two weeks. I felt like all they wanted was more money and to sell me their products. Won't be back.
