- A MUST READ BEFORE YOU GO HERE!!! I've gone through THREE!! Surgeries here so, I think I can give…read moreyou the most authentic and honest insight on this place. The first two surgeries were basically flat foot reconstruction surgery and the last one was to take out a plate that was bothering me from my first surgery. When coming here you have to interact with Ms BIANCA. She is one of the front desk clerks who is amazing! She greets you by name when you walk in! I love how she's very personable. I never know how she remembers all these patient names. But yes outstanding customer service. I love her! Next up is Ms. CATHY who takes you back and gets your vitals. She is always nice and makes sure she listens to any concerns you have. She always seems to be in a great mood and you can really see she cares about her job and her patients. Next comes my surgeon, DR. BHAKTA. Now when I first met Dr Bhakta it was very quick. He was not very personable or great at listening to ME. I believe this was because he had serviced my dad brother grandpa you name it. i think he believed he knew that I needed surgery. He was not so great at being patient and listening was not there. I felt like he held my life in his hands my surgeries did not go as planned and I feel my life has been forever changed. Words cannot express how this process has been for me. Let's move on to one of his assistants Ms AMBER in my experience she was the absolute worse. She took out my stitches for my first surgery and was not gentle. She made remarks about how many incisions I had saying "wow he sure cut you up like meat" and continued to laugh at my pain while taking my stitches out. She never offered to console me or stop she thought my pain was hilarious. I noticed one of my incisions were not healed and bleeding and when I brought it to her attention she brushed it off and put a cast on me which later turned into a infection. highly do not recommend her for anything. The only reason I feel she was nicer taking out my stitches from this last surgery was because she wanted a good review. She was kind this go around and even offered to help put on my boot which she has never done in the past. Quite frankly I feel she acts as if she doesn't want to touch you sometimes. I just don't recommend her at all! Moving on to therapy Dr. STEVEN is AMAZING!! He is very personable offers very genuine advice and listens to all your concerns. He answers every concern and question you have thoroughly and knowledgeable. Last but not least My good sus Ms. SHAY I love her. I owe all my recovery to her. There was days I truly wanted to give up and just not push through all of this but she not only encouraged me but pushed me to do and be my best! She is truly a gem. She was very relatable understanding and answered all my concerns professionally and when she didn't know she always got the answer for me. I didn't know that therapy was a key part of this process until she came into my life and I'm truly grateful for her. Overall some of the front desk ladies could get a little more training in professionalism and being more genuine when dealing with patients concerning payments or scheduled appointments. I work in customer service myself I know it can be frustrating but I pride myself in making sure every customer has a great experience. I would not recommend this place! I am still currently in excruciating pain every single day since my surgeries!!

She carefully listened to my concerns and conducted a thorough exam, during which she identified something that warranted further investigation and promptly ordered an MRI. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and commitment to patient care gave me confidence and peace of mind during a very uncertain time. I have seen a few doctors at Arlington Orthopedics in both Arlington and Mansfield and think the…read moreDOCTOR'S are great. However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

Next issue was addressed by Dr Even. He has a great group, can't speak highly enough about both Dr Even and his PA Ambrosia. Amazing team. Couple years and I'm back with a hip replacement. Once again, Dr Seroyer does an outstanding job. Back on my feet in 2 weeks. Another 2 years roll by and again I need to see Dr Even. Had to have another fusion and they found a small cyst in L3. After recuperating I was good as new. My latest adventure was another spine issue and Dr Even and his team were just as professional as they were the other 2 times. Still recuperating from the last one. Over my 10 years experience, The Surgery skills and desire to get you up and going again are the best there is. As with all offices, changes have been made and sadly not all for the better. Thankfully, the team of Dr Even and Ambrosia are still intact and I would call them again tomorrow if my back needs work. If my other knee and hip need work, Dr Seroyer will get the call. There are issues getting to see the Drs due to schedules and as such, appointments are given to the doctors PA. Thank goodness Dr Even has an excellent PA with Ambrosia. Never worry about visit with them. They are the Best Drs around. That's the reason the PROs use Dr Meister, Dr Seroyer and Dr Even and I fully understand wht.

If you need surgery you're a priority but after that, get in line. While some aspects of the practice are as good as they were 5-7 years, others have significantly eroded . Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.
