Grandson giving the thumbs up to hotdogs and fries.

Took my grandson to lunch and it was his first time having a hotdog. He loved it. Food is good, service is good but the floors are dirty and sticky.

First off, I love Wienerschnitzel. I always loved the food. The service, however is another story. I've been to other locations and the service has been a hit or miss. Since I found out that this location was opened, I was so excited. Finally bought food today and although the food wasn't bad, the service was disappointing! I went to the drive-thru and ordered one Chicago beef hot dog, one Oreo shake, and 5 chili cheese fries. The guy did read back my order but only mentioned what I ordered and not the quantity. Unfortunately I didn't catch it. When I got the receipt, I did noticed the discrepancy. They charged me for only the hot dog, shake, and ONE chili cheese fries. Honestly, I don't know how the guy thought I said one chili cheese fries when I specifically said 5! He kept apologizing for the mistake and usually I say "that's okay", but I was just not having it. I understand if you mess up the flavor of the shake or size of the drink, but the quantity is important because that determines how much you actually pay. In the end, I did received 5 chili cheese fries. So it wasn't a bad ending. Originally I was going to give this place a one star, but because the food wasn't bad, I gave it an extra star. I'm done with the drive-thru here.

Chili cheese fries. Looks like the fryer is dirty.

Food is gross and the only thing that isn't over priced is the hot dogs. Over all won't return.

Great Quality Sourdough, but a Bit Pricey…read more Rating: 4/5 Stars (I'd give it 4.5 if I could!) We had a really solid lunch here. The food quality is definitely high and everything felt very fresh, though it is a bit of a "premium" experience for a sandwich shop. What We Ordered: 8-inch French Dip: My husband really enjoyed this--the bread held up great to the au jus. 6-inch Turkey and Salami: This was my choice, and the meats were high-quality and the sourdough had that perfect crunch. Kids' Ham and Cheese: Both kids finished their sandwiches with no complaints! Service was fairly fast, which is a huge plus when you're out with the family. My only real "critique" (besides the price) is the kids' meal side; it comes with applesauce, and there was no option to swap it out for chips. We spent about $67 for the four of us. It's a little pricey for a sandwich spot, but you can definitely taste the difference in the freshness of the ingredients. A really good spot if you're looking for a high-quality sub. Great bread and solid service!

I got their kids meal and tried their turkey sandwich, and ordered for pick up. My order was not ready by the time they had estimated, but it was okay I did not mind at all. It was pretty busy inside, I waited maybe 10 minutes for my order. The sandwich was good, I unfortunately, I was not a big fan of the turkey itself. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and it definitely looks like a favorite as there were so many people constantly walking in and out.

My Roadhouse Salad was enormous and topped with generous, perfectly cooked slices of tri-tip, which balanced beautifully with the tart apples, blue cheese, and apple vinaigrette. They were out of both beef and pork ribs, but we saw they had a ribeye steak dinner, so we said, why not try it? Of course, it wasn't slow roasted (we ordered it rare), but the broiling and the seasoning was terrific. We split a one pounder, medium rare, and it was more than enough for two of us; not only the steak but a giant crispy dinner salad, a bowl of delicious braised collards, and a dinner roll. More than enough to gorge ourselves silly. Service was friendly, informal dining was tops (too hot to eat outside). we wont wait another five years to come back (in fact, we are going back tomorrow mornign to grab some ribs to take home).

Sharing tells of old to the amazement of the young, the wool Growers is a staple in this town. We have celebrated many a birthdays or raised a glass in memory of days of old, people who have passed. Being able to enjoy a full meal without completely extortionary prices is a rarity in today's world - and quite frankly if you want to get it in California, you probably need to get it driving up and down I-5. Not sure where else you can do it. The set menu is pretty simple. You pick your entree, say what side dishes you want, and they're off to the races with a full-course meal for you by providing family-style sides - namely salad, a lamb soup (fantastic!), baked beans, even a quick easy dessert at the end. Also, a house wine, which I honestly can't judge in terms of quality, but it certainly isn't /bad/ (ie, it's drinkable). As for my review, the main entrees I've had have generally been decent. I've had the tri-tip and the lamb chop and they both have come out decently seasoned, decently cooked. My thoughts on the side dishes: 1. The lamb soup is definitely the best. It's super flavorful, super tender, the meat really falls apart in your mouth. Honestly, the lamb soup might even be better than the actual lamb entrees. 2. The vegetable soup is basically just fine. It's nice and hearty, but honestly not super memorable (in either direction). 3. The salad is probably my least favorite entree simply because it always has too much dressing and is a bit too "rich" for my liking. I've actually found that it tastes pretty good though if you eat it on top of the bread. 4. Baked beans - basically hearty and good with the generous parmesan cheese they put over it. I'm a fan. My actual certified Gamer Pro-Tip is to toss tabasco sauce into it - it definitely balances out the parmesan better. 5. Potato salad - I don't actually think too memorable besides being adequate. Definitely filling. Anyways, the amount of food and diversity of dishes you get is crazy - and it's remarkably rare to see this kind of cuisine at this price point. Finally, there's honestly just not a lot of competition in the "places to eat driving up and down between Los Angeles and the Bay Area." If I had to think of any changes, I really just think they need slightly less dressing on the salad! No complaints otherwise!
