I thought I would be without my knifes for a few days but was very happy to find out I would get them back the same day (in fact In just 2 hours for my 6 knifes) Now I have the sharpest knifes I've ever seen. The owner was really nice and was happy to answer all my questions about how to use them safely and even thought me how to properly hold them to cut things, he even has a really well made cleaning and maintenance handout that I'm posting to my fridge. Black lab, or maybe a mix. And another dog, black lab too. Sweetest dogs. I even got a kiss. Store does have a lot to look at. Knives, kitchen placemats, kitchen towels, wooded utensils, and so on. The owners are very friendly and were most helpful even with our meager purchase that day of just two wine bottle stoppers. One of the best things about visiting this store is the owners' two black labs who "help out" by lying about up front or off to the side of the entrance on their dog beds (L.L. Bean dog beds of course). And lucky us, the day we were there, the owners' son's dog, a black Lab mix, was also there making for a 3-dog day!
