Why Thai? Because it tastes so good.
The menu at Why Thai is standard, but the food is great, I just went for a quick lunch and had a Pad Thai, which is served without prawns (just how I like it). The service is fast and friendly and the meal was delicious.
The thing which was a bit different for Why Thai, was their fried rice selection, they offered Authentic, Ton Yum, Pineapple and Chilli Jam Fried rice., I will come back and try the Tom Yum fried rice, it looks interesting with egg, lemongrass, galangal, lime leaves, lemon juice, chilli and mushrooms.
Also they have Brown rice ( which I always like to see) and Garlic Rice (which I have not seen before). They could invest in some new tables, as their current ones are a bit old and battered, but the food was impressive enough to ignore the décor. Also they had a heater right in the middle of the dining area which was perfect as it was so cold. read more
