It was Time For Thai last night. I enjoyed the food there and there was quite a bit of it as 2 girls couldn't finish 2 dishes! If you've seen how much I can eat and how I hate wasting food you will know that it would actually require me to be extremely full to leave some food on the table. $12 for each of the dishes was quite reasonable. Even, dare I say, on the cheaper side of other Thai places in Sydney.

Looking for some good thai food in the eastern suburb? Look no further ! Ive been here numerous times and to be honest, I dont think I have tried any dish that is worthy of a "meh". Everything here is pretty much a winner (yay!). One of my favourite dishes here is PAD SEE EW. Since I always order this dish at any Thai restaurant I go to, I will consider myself as a PAD SEE EW expert, and this place serves GOOD PAD SEE EW ! Other dishes which I would recommended are: Crispy chicken with rice - YUM! Portion is generous , not too oily, comes with a small bowl of soup. Curry Chicken with roti - fluffy roti + yummy curry. What more can one ask for? Note: This place can be (extremely) packed on Friday / Sat nights. So either get there early or be prepared to wait for a long time....especially for big groups. Service can be lacking during busy nights, so definitely be patient :)

just ordered duck red curry, tofu+vege pad thai and fried chicken wings (via uber eats) for my wife and I, food was okay but halfway through my meal i saw an ingredient i had never seen before. it was a cooked fly in my meal. I am so disgusted right now, i actually threw up. never going back and cannot recommend.

I'm not sure what possessed me to order an omelette today, it's the sort of thing that anyone can cook even someone who causes kitchen fires like me, but maybe it was because the menu had it listed as one of their favourites and I wanted to see what was so special. Anyway I'm glad I took the risk, the Chicken Omelette at it's time for Thai is a seemingly simple but delicious dish. There must be secret ingredients as I do not think I could make an omelette comprising of chicken, shallots, tomato and onion, taste like this tasted. It was delicious. I recommend it.

I had just read reviews for this restaurant and thought I'd try it out today for lunch. Reviews don't lie! This place was friendly, welcoming and provided the goal of having cheap and tasty Thai food. I had the Pad See Ew and I'm definitely coming back here to try more of the menu. Great for students and I think more restaurants should follow this kind of method of providing a great service to people. The only thing is make sure your order is $30 or more otherwise there is a 2% surcharge for using a debit/credit card. I'm sure you'll get there with the amount of variety they have.

My favourite Thai joint in Sydney. I was devastated when they closed for renovations because I feared they had closed for good! Every single dish myself or whoever I bring there have tried has been amazing. I highly recommend the beef matabah and hoy jor as entrees. For people who are quite new to Thai food, the BBQ chicken is great, if you are already acquainted with the cuisine, get straight into the papaya salad. I've attached photos for you to feast your eyes upon and salivate :)

Being a big lover of Thai food, I'm so very glad my favourite Thai in Sydney happens to be just a 2 minute walk from my place. Aside from the fact that they don't serve alcohol, this place is great, best massamun curry hands down. Now that I have gotten used to having a roti with my curries, I find it pretty sad when I go to any other Thai place and they don't serve it. I also recommend their green chicken curry, as well as their papaya salad (if you like spicy food). Yum. I almost want to go get some take away right now.

    Beef pad thai. Yum !!

We come to this place at least once a month. Today we ordered Padthai, crispy fried chicken and rice, as well as beef green curry and roti. The portion is always generous. My son also loves the thai milk tea.

It was overall a great experience. We ordered Pad Thai and Chicken Red Curry. Relatively large portion sizes for 3 people.

Not your average Thai place. There is a bit of creativity in their menu and dishes are always well balanced and delicious

"Treat your special lady to a special cocktail"…read more So says the sign above the men's urinal. Curious... The food here isn't in the same ballpark as the many great Thai places I frequent. I expect spicy heat and despite ordering that it delivered almost none. The two mains we ordered (duck and pork) had no love, they were presented poorly and contained little flair. The entrees however were quite well done. The prawn pastry shells, and the betel scallop were both tasty. The accompanying refreshments had good variety however they were also expensive. The ambience is pleasant, and the wait staff are friendly yet struggle slightly with the language barrier. With the bill topping $100 for 2 (nothing extravagant ordered) you can see why I won't be heading back anytime soon. In closing I would like to share a personal message from my companion, which read: "Hey Dan !!! The one ? Pleasent for eating many Friendship apopse" ... kinda sums it all up really :)

The staff are very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Peking duck pancakes and chicken san choy bow - probably the only reason this place is not getting a 5 is that the duck pancakes did not have enough sauce. For mains we went with two of the special options being the chicken yellow curry and the crispy pork belly - both were delicious and had the right amount of spice. These dishes with rice and two beers came to $87. The restaurant has seating options that would work well for both groups and couples - if in a group I would book ahead. Parking can be a bit of an issue in the area but you will find one aslong as you are willing to walk.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Sydney. Full stop. I realize what that is saying. This was…read morethe first place I got quickie takeout from after landing in town both last year and this year and it will be the last thing I eat before I leave. It's probably actually my favorite restaurant of any kind in Sydney. Nestled between a clock shop and an adult video (? or something ?) store on Oxford Street, this restaurant offers classic Thai staples in hearty portion sizes for prices well below what they probably should be. It's nothing fancy, but they are always quick to bring out water, happy to accommodate your BYO option for the meal, and the décor inside is bright colored walls with tasteful scattered plants, posters, mirrors and dimly lit candles on tables which provide just the right amount of ambiance to make it feel special for an evening date. They are usually pretty busy and can be packed at lunchtime, but they do a swift takeout order if need be. This place is good enough and the staff are so friendly, I don't even mind coming to eat lunch here by myself once in a while. My favorites are the curry puffs as a starter and the red curry chicken as a main. My partner loves the lad nar with tofu and vegetables. I also recommend the spring rolls or fish cakes as starters, tom kha gai as a soup will do for a main too, or any of the basics like fried rice, pad kee mow, or pad thai as mains. The dishes range from $10-12 roughly, based on the meat you select. I haven't had anything thus far that I didn't like, and most of it I found to be simply delectable. I leave stuffed every time, feeling like I probably shouldn't have finished the last few bites but I can't help myself.
