When I went to pick up the dress she only hemmed in 4 1/2 " not the 7 "I had asked. She argued and argued that I did not ask for 7 inches and the turnover to make the hem caused it to only be 4 1/2 inch shorter. WOW no customer service, she just kept arguing that she was correct. We have been coming to this cleaners for years and enjoy their reliability and turnaround time…read more Good hours and for the most part friendly staff. Although in a pandemic with multiple variants present currently, the staff member while I was there did not wear a mask and the customers did not wear masks while going in. There also was no enforcement of masks nor signage anywhere visible that said they were taking precautions or following any guidelines of the CDC. Myself and one other customer, out of five people that came in, were wearing masks. I'm not sure if other employees on other days may possibly wear their masks and follow proper guidelines, but today was definitely not the case. Laundry service is good and always has been but I definitely didn't feel too safe and/or assured that the employees and the establishment as a whole was doing their part to stop the spread of this ugly virus.

**BEWARE** I've been…read morea customer here for about 3 years, which is why this situation is so disappointing. My fiancé brought in my coat (retail value $530) to be dry cleaned in February. When he picked it up, it had been severely damaged. The material is melted and ripped, and the coat is no longer wearable. When I followed up with the business, they offered $200, which does not reflect the cost to replace the item. I located the exact same coat currently available for $319 and asked if they could cover that amount so I could replace it, but they refused. They stated the damage was due to the material and not their responsibility. However, the type of damage (melting and tearing) clearly suggests improper cleaning. If the item was too delicate to clean, that should have been communicated before accepting it. They also claimed a warning was given at drop-off, but my fiancé does not recall being told this. Additionally, when I asked about filing a claim, I was told they do not carry insurance. I understand some time has passed, but as a long-time, loyal customer, I expected a more reasonable resolution. This was handled poorly, and I cannot recommend this business based on this experience!

I've been coming to Crystal Rose 2x a month for over 15 years, easily spending a few hundred…read moredollars per month, every month. I regret to say I've picked up my last round of dry cleaning from them. I had some concerns when the new owner, Denice, took over and Luciano was no longer around. At first everything was smooth, service and quality were not impacted. Then Denice turned the business over to her daughter and things seemed to take a turn for the worse. I noticed they couldn't find my clothes where the tag said they were supposed to be. I had to stand and watch the clothes go buy and point out what was mine. I was given someone else's clothes. One of my sports coats was missing from my order and was hanging separately because they had given it to someone else. These things left doubts in my mind, what if that person hadn't brought my clothes back? Who's responsible? This last week was the final straw. I had brought in a few shirts, a blue blazer and a sports coat for cleaning. Shame on me for not checking my items immediately. While packing for a business trip I was laying out my clothes and couldn't believe that they had pressed my blue blazer! Who presses a blazer? You could see all the lines from the pockets and buttons burned into the fabric. The collar and lapel trims were creased and burned! I'm absolutely furious that they would ruin my clothes and not have the integrity to say something. Other than to drop my ruined blazer off at their counter, I will never bring another article of clothing to Crystal Rose again. Save yourself a lot of frustration and some money, take your dry cleaning elsewhere.

I don't remember what compelled me to do a search but I found Sudz in LA Habra took card instead of coins. I never carry cash so laundry day always required an extra trip to the ATM for me so Sudz appealed to me since I wouldn't have to do that. It's about a 15 minute drive but it's worth it to come here since I only do laundry about once every few weeks. As I said, they accept card and use a laundry card for the machines but also, it's always staffed so they are constantly cleaning and the staff is always very nice. They also have a clean bathroom that's only accessible with your laundry card. Minus 1 star because it never fails, I get mosquito bites here all the time lmao but other than that I love it here.

I had my doubts it could be fixed, but I left the pants with them. When I went back they had pulled some of the threads to the inside but you could still see all the damage. It was not acceptable. She refused to compensate me properly for the damaged pants. Instead she made excuses and finally only offered me a little over the cost of dry cleaning the pants. Then when she gave me the money, she claimed not to have the exact amount and asked for change back from me which I didn't have on me. At this point I just wanted to get the interaction over with, she was so frustrating and unapologetic.

After some back and forth, she offered to try and clean it but when I brought it in she was worried it might smear. The dry cleaning itself was good. They only do this for dress shirts so if you're dropping off a dress shirt, especially an expensive one, ask them not to write on it and use a tag. I attached a photo but redacted the other person's name for privacy reasons. Bad day. At least I didn't drop off an LV dress shirt, I would've been so sad.
