Predominantly designing jewelry from old U.S. solid sterling silver coins in his little unassuming shop. He was very accommodating to our requests and super interesting to talk with. We watched as he transformed what was a sterling silver coin into a beautiful piece of jewelry. Sounds strange but is really breathtaking. On some pieces he leaves the ridges of the original coin and when viewed from the back, you can still see what coin it was made from. Even his website [ http://www.vermontmountainman.com ] doesn't do his art justice. I swear if you order anything he hand makes it will surpass your expectations. I'm glad he has this site because you do get a little glance of quality work and can defiantly see the value in his ridiculously affordable pricing! Not only did Imagine Jewelers find and install a replacement diamond chip, but they also repaired multiple tiny prongs around other diamond chips to make this family heirloom as good as new, and now, in a size that I can wear! I love the ring and look forward to wearing it. Beautiful work, friendly service, and a reasonable price made Imagine Jewelers a great choice for my repair.

I was window shopping and not planning on buying anything, so I took my sweet time going to each and every display case. No one followed me around, but the owner approached only a couple times to ask if I needed anything. It was a perfect balance of welcoming but not being pushy at all. I ended up seeing too many things I liked, which normally never happens. Fell in love with Suzanne Kalan's designs, which made me, a student, a little bitter upon seeing the prices. However, the owner was so friendly and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all asking her to see a couple of pieces up close. She wrote the designer's name on a card for me for future reference when I make the $$$. I ended up getting a pair of earrings I love that were several magnitudes cheaper but kind of similar to the pricier designs. The owner was considerate enough to curate similar styles in multiple price points, and she even told me I could come back and return the earrings if they caused an allergic reaction (so glad they didn't!) since the metal was not sterling silver or gold. I rarely find a jewelry store with pieces I like (dainty minimalist), let alone a truly sweet owner who seems to love what she does. Will definitely come back if I find myself in Saratoga again. I'm not sure I find the "$$$" accurate for this business, since the prices vary so much. There were cute pieces for children here too that were reasonably priced.
