The florist called/texted my recipient to deliver the flowers but I think I would have liked it to just be dropped off at the front door instead for a better surprise. I think how it works is they want to deliver it and make sure that your recipient is available to receive the order. The interesting: You place your order thru email and get an invoice maybe a week later (or at least I did) from which you pay online.

By now it was late afternoon and she even offered to deliver the flowers up to the person's home on her way home from work.
