I received a balloon delivery for my birthday on a Tuesday morning around 10:00 am. The first…read morepicture is the balloons by 7:30 pm the same day. One of the Mylar balloons was already deflated and sinking along with several of the latex balloons. The second picture was the next day where not only were the balloons no longer floating but they were also shrinking. I called on Wednesday and spoke with a nice young man who listened to my concerns and told me someone would follow up. I did receive a call the next day (Thursday) from an owner or manager (I can't remember which) and she told me latex balloons are only guaranteed for 7 hours although they do put Hi-Float in them. I googled it and Hi-Float should make latex balloons last an average of 2-5 days. Even untreated, they should last 8-12 hours. Mylar balloons should last way longer and the heart balloon lasted less than 10 hours and the round balloon lasted less than a week. My son had a birthday in July and he still has a Mylar balloon floating around his room. Anyway, she said she would test some other balloons from the same batch and get back to me. My actual birthday was on Friday (over a week ago) and I did not hear anything from her that day or any day after. My mother-in-law ordered the balloons from out of state and had them delivered early so I could enjoy them all week. Little does she know that was not the case. Instead of having balloons to enjoy on my birthday, I had a pile of droopy shrinking latex that I had to throw in the trash. I don't know how much it cost, but I'm sure it was expensive, plus the delivery fee. I feel bad for her knowing that she spent a lot of money for a gift that I couldn't even enjoy on my birthday. The shop could've made it right by delivering fresh balloons on my birthday but instead they never followed up.

I got my mother-in-law flowers from here and loved that an anemone flower was used. I didn't know what the bouquet would look like so it was a total surprise. I liked the simple/modern vase that came with it and how it wasn't the typical/cheap see-thru glass one you get from most bouquet places. The bad: For $65, I was expecting a slightly larger bouquet with more than the 6-7 flowers that were in my order but I understand that rarer flowers cost more. The florist called/texted my recipient to deliver the flowers but I think I would have liked it to just be dropped off at the front door instead for a better surprise. I think how it works is they want to deliver it and make sure that your recipient is available to receive the order. The interesting: You place your order thru email and get an invoice maybe a week later (or at least I did) from which you pay online.

Luckily - Karen at Garden Path Co responded the same day, and was very attentive to what I wanted - all within my budget! You probably need to be a bride to understand the relief it is when you find a great vendor - almost everything during planning increases or adds to your stress, and Karen immediately took so much stress off my plate. She got on the phone with me and spent over an hour of her time listening to what I wanted, making recommendations - and even gave me other great vendors to look at. In my budget ($1500 and under), every florist refused to come up to my venue to set up - so I pretty much knew I was picking up my flowers and going to have to decorate myself. Karen offered to make the 2-3 hr drive to set them up myself so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Ultimately I didn't end up needing her to do that because a friend of mine offered to set the flowers up for me, but it was so appreciated she was willing to do that! I also had wanted a floral garland for a wedding arch, and had been told that wasn't possible without paying for flower delivery and setup. I found myself trying to accept cutting out the wedding arch, flowers for my cake, and to tuck into my hair to try and cut back costs. Garden Path worked with me to make sure I had extra flowers for my hair, they let me borrow their wildflower vases at no extra cost (everyone else was charging $10+ per vase rental ontop of the flower costs), and they made me a beautiful garland for my arch and supplies to hang it up myself. This worked out perfectly, and my friend was able to hang up the garland with just some nails and garden wire the morning of the wedding. The flowers the day of were so beautiful and really brought the wedding together - it was mountain wildflower inspired, and the mix of wildflowers and beautiful arrangements were the perfect touch to our outdoor wedding. I am so happy with how it turned out, and really can't thank Karen enough for making my vision come true without having to compromise!
