Without hesitation she said, "Get a massage every month." I've followed that advice ever since, and I've been a member here for the past 15 years. As a hairstylist, my body is my livelihood. Their skill, professionalism, and genuine care have kept me feeling my best so I can continue showing up for my clients. I'm incredibly grateful for this team and everything they do. I'm not sure I should say that, since it may make it harder to book with her in the future. Ashley is fantastic. I am 100% disabled, total and complete. I have spinal stenosis, muscular atrophy, Myelopathy, and Sciatica in both legs and arms. I see her once a week for an hour. She works on all my muscular issues that help with my anxiety due to severe chronic pain in my back, legs, and neck. She is very thorough and fun to talk to if you feel like it. Sometimes I talk, and sometimes I just lie there, enjoying the feeling of someone massaging my tight muscles. She is perfectly fine with either. She has great pressure, but she knows when something needs extra attention; she can attack it. I can only speak for Ashley, as I have not been with any other massage therapist who works there. But if they are close to what I think about Ashley, you will be in great hands. Another shout-out to the lady at the front desk. I am sorry, I do not remember her name, and I can't help that I'm 57. But you need to know she is awesome and always tries to get me the times I want. There have been times when I could not get the times I wanted, but that is expected. I work with her, and we figure it out together. I will go to Round Rock Health & Wellness Center for as long as I can. Wish they had one in Georgetown, but then that would be a renaming issue. I have to be honest: I don't handle any financial matters at RRH&W because I am covered by the VA.

I was able to stop the meds with diet and exercise. After an injury, exercise was put on the back burner. Food addiction and weight gain has caused my symptoms to flare again after being dormant for the last 10 years. I got back on track with eating and physical activity but this recent flare has caused crippling pain in my hands and I've been trying every alternative for relief before I give up and go back to rheumatology. Full body cryo, meditation, massage, a vast variety of topical salves and lotions, compression gloves, heating pads, TENs machines. My husband finally convinced me to try acupuncture. This is my last stop, I had my first visit with Dr. Gong this morning and he's such a gentle soul. He answered all my questions with grace and despite the fact that there is a wall of herbs and medicines, I walked out not feeling like I was being pressured to purchase anything more than the acupuncture service and his time that I was expecting. Purchasing extra of anything wasn't even mentioned. He was very honest as well, informing me that with the severity of my pain and now visible joint damage, he recommended some steroid intervention to quiet my flare. No false promises of a cure all and he was genuine. I wish he did family practice, I would choose him over any physician I've had in the past.

I was super excited to get. quick referral from the VA and reached out to PWC directly as instructed by the VA. The person I spoke to (Dr. Peng I assume) told me that he has a person that processes VA appointments once a week and I'd have to wait until next week to be processed and subsequently called to make appointments. I couldn't believe that was the response. That is NOT what the VA thought they were getting when I was referred. A day or two later I got documentation in the mail from the VA to contact them directly. I called back and was given the same line. "We have one person, that works one day a week, to process VA referrals and you'd have to wait". So much for caring for patients in need or veterans. I explained that that was unacceptable and I'll be reporting PWC to the VA to let them know they were happy to take the VA's referral money...but in no rush to actually see veterans. When I called the VA to tell them what happened and report them, I was told the PWC had "declined me service". Um what?! I was NEVER "served". I lodged my formal complaint to the VA anyway and while I was on the phone with them, I was referred to another massage therapist in the area...whon not only took my referral but saw me THE FOLLOWING DAY! And the company and massage therapist have been AMAZING to work with. I review LOTS of businesses and try to support as many small business in my area as possible but I'll NEVER recommend anyone to this place. Ever.
