For all your car needs! Seriously! No need to go anywhere else! I took my car to a Toyota Dealer to get the 20k service for my 2017 Toyota Rav4. I asked them to check out a metal sounding noise coming from the front wheels, which i assumed were the brakes. The reps there told me that i had "plenty of time left before having to replace my brake pads" (at least till my 25k service) and that they couldn't replicate the noise. Fast forward just a couple of months and i was hearing the same noise but way more prominent. I came to Whittier Tire Zone on Painter and it turns out my brake pads needed to urgently be replaced because they were at less than 20%!! Cesar was honest, fair, and very detail oriented. You will not be disappointed!!!

Great customer service, great pricing on tires and alignment. These guys got me brand new tires and an alignment for less than most tire shops charge just for their lowest tier tires. They got my car done in a timely manner plus they have an air conditioned waiting room. On top of that, they were able to accommodate my lowered car. They got it riding real smooth. Got the job done. Came in for smog test and I had a low pressure sensor with a visible screw in my tire. One stop shop. There's some wait time and it's visible work is being done. Very friendly and attentive crew. Chuy does my car work across from Whittier tire zone 3rd garage from the F&S office in the same lot if you ever need some repair or a second opinion. I was a bit of a jam. I took my son to the DMV in Whittier today for his behind the wheel drivers test. Mind you the night before my mechanic checked over my whole car lights, brake lights, etc. he assured my car was ready to go. Well when my son was ready to take his test the right brake light was out. I told the instructor if there was a manager I could talk to the manager told me if I could get it fixed in an hour we could come back and take the test. I took my car to Cesar at Whittier Tire Zone what a first gentleman this guy was I told him my situation and he fixed my light in less then 10 minutes. And we went back and my son passed his test. Thank you so much Cesar a real good guy for the Whittier Community. I recommend him 10000%. I happened to be driving by to see where I could get my window fixed. My car had an electrical window issue. Cesar was super professional and explained everything very well. Came here for a smog check because DMV wouldn't give me my stickers. Decided to come here and give it a try. Met Cesar at the store, super nice man, had a long conversation with him! I have been trying to look for a good mechanic for a while now and my uncle recommended this place. Awesome service, Cesar asked me questions about my jeep before he worked on it so he could figure out what was wrong and they even showed me where my car was leaking from. They gave me a great deal for breaks and an oil change! I'll definitely be coming back soon. He also pointed out some other things that needed to be fixed asap! I use to go to Goodyear and I'm sure if I would of gone with them, they would of charged me double of what I payed . I find it a little funny that Goodyear had "thrown" in some brake fluid for free when I got a lot of stuff done to my car and the guys here found it contaminated :/ Sorry Goodyear , you've been replaced ! read more

I first started to take my vehicles to Tire Zone for repair and maintenance a couple of years ago and I can not recommend anyone higher. Caesar and his crew are honest and fair. They do not try to sell you on things you do not need, unlike a lot of other auto repair shops in the area. What I am most impressed with is that they stand behind their work. I have had a lot of major and minor work done on my truck and my son's car by Tire Zone and have always been more than happy with the results. On the rare occasion that there was a problem, all I had to do is bring the vehicle back and they made it right in a timely manner, no questions asked. They also get me in and out fast for those dreaded smog checks. I know my way around under the hood and have seen many other shops take advantage of those who don't. This is a repair shop that you can trust and also have competitive rates. read more

This place is terrible. They charge you 51.75 for a smog check, do not offer free retest if pass. Made me wait in their dirty, hot waiting room for over an hour (they said 30 minutes) to fail me. When I asked why they said they were experiencing equipment issues. Really? Then they wanted to charge me another $51.75 for the retest. STAY AWAY. read more

I have been coming here for 4 years now and I can't see myself going anywhere else! Cesar has done my oil changes and all the routine maintenance. The pricing is always better than anywhere else. I really trust him. My whole family goes here as well. I rather pay to get my car towed here than to go anywhere else. He also has competitive tire pricing! I would recommend him to anyone! I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

My dad was so impressed with the quality of work Cesar provided on my car that he decided to get a quote for replacing his rotors. When Ceasr finished on my car, he let me know that my brake fluid was not in good condition. He drained my brake fluid and replaced it with new fluid. He explained to me in detail that brake fluid should not be topped off. I had no idea, and apparently, my dad didn't know either, and we had topped it off because it was low. Now, I know, for future reference, that when it's low, I should replace my brakes. I appreciate the work that Cesar did on my car and his communication. I will absolutely use his service again and recommend him to friends and family.

Today, we got four wheels on my wife's car done, all with curb rash to a varying degree and the result was great. The challenge today wasn't the damage, it actually wasn't super complex or extensive. It was the color. From the factory, the color is pretty unique, but the Dr. Wheel team got it pretty much exactly. A special shout out to Jonathan, who came out to our house twice and did a great job. Friendly, professional, thorough, and just an all around solid dude. I was referred here by a family member. They told me that this mechanic did excellent work and is trust worthy. Well, turns out she was right! Cesar is an absolutely great guy! He is very knowledgeable and explains everything well! He changed the front and back brakes on my car and replaced the fuel pump on my explorer. Both of my vehicles are running perfectly! Thanks so much Cesar! It is hard to find a good trust worthy mechanic these days. This shop is great an so is Cesar. He is honest mechanic which are hard to find. He got my car running again after it stopped dead in its tracks. He trouble shot the problems and got the job done. There were a few things wrong with my car and would not let me drive off until he fixed all the problems and felt the car was safe to drive. His prices are super fair so I'll definitely be back. read more
