My 18 year old was in pain from one of his wisdom tooth, and the Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists were able to get him in first thing on Saturday morning at 7:00am. The front staff were amazing. The office was so immaculate, and the beverage bar they had was also really nice. The techs and assistants who took us back to take pictures, and go over billing details were great too. My son bravely opted to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted the same day. Dr. Amir went over my son's xray thoroughly, and explained what the procedure was going to be like. He was kind, patient, and had a great personality. Dr. Amir definitely made the experience for my son more calming and comfortable. After the surgery, they provided my son with a "wrap around head/chin" ice pack for the swelling, which had 2 ice packs one on each side of his cheeks, making icing hands-free. So nice. The healing process went very well. Overall, Dr. Amir and the staff really know what they are doing, and they truly care. I highly recommend them!

Upon returning from my trip, I scheduled an emergency appointment with Luc Dental Care. An x-ray confirmed a large cavity in my wisdom tooth. I was immediately referred to Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists for a tooth extraction. I spoke with a friendly representative at Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists who was able to schedule a next day consultation and oral surgery. The following day I arrived to a group of friendly employees at the front desk that greeted me. Since I filled out the intake form prior to the appointment, I was only seated for two minutes before being ushered to the back. An employee took my blood pressure, administered an x-ray, and informed me that the surgeon would be with me shortly. Shortly after Dr. Fries entered the room and introduced himself. He gave me an overview of the procedure that would be conducted, asked if I had any questions, and then started a short video that informed me about post-extraction care. After the video concluded, I was ushered to another room where Dr. Fries and an employee began administering the local anesthesia. Roughly 10 minutes later, after confirming that the anesthesia had kicked in, Dr Fries began the procedure. Throughout the procedure Dr. Fries and the employee did a great job of communicating what was happening (the wisdom tooth was very stubborn in coming out) and verifying that I was not in pain (although there was slight discomfort). Three days later, strictly following the post-extraction rules, I have no pain (thankfully)...thank you Dr. Fries and the rest of the Sacramento Valley Dental Specialists team!

I also didn't like the fact that I was recommended to get the tooth pulled, and do a bone graft. Not guaranteed to would work either after over $3000 just for that part. Then it would require a new implant and bridge which would add a lot more. Went to a new dentist and found out that I have a bad infection. Got referred to Dr. Tran. Great staff and Dr. Tran explained to me what was going on and different methods that are available. I have total faith in him and don't have reservations as I did before. I go back in a month to check on the infection and finish the root canal and then we go forward from there. I can also tell that Dr. Tran is looking at what is best for his patients. The cost was very reasonable too.

I'd been researching dentists for some time and kept coming back to Elk Grove Healthy Smiles (EHS), due to all of theor positive reviews and the staff from posted photos seems very friendly. I finally decided to visit EHS, and it turns out my girlfriend we t here when she was younger and had positive experiences as well. My initial consultation was thorough, and everything noted was gone over with me by both my Dental Hygienist and Dr. Nanra. And any further treatment was discussed and I given the option and opportunity to do it the same day, which I opted for dueing my 1st visit. Further treatment I went to another professional, and EHS helped me through the process and were even able to get me in sooner than expected. And then get me back in in-house, to finish a treatment before I went on vacation. Standard visits have been quick and easy as well, and staff have always ensured I was comfortable throughout my visits. From the reception team up front, to the dental professionals in the back. The staff are always nice and friendly with a positive attitude. And the front desk staff, make everything from billing to appointment booking as easy as possible. Overall: Great Dr. and great staff. She greeted him with such a warm and welcoming demeanor, patiently giving him the space he needed to feel comfortable walking into the room at his own pace. What truly stood out was how thoughtful the environment was, cartoons were already playing on both the wall and the ceiling-mounted TV above his chair, which immediately helped put him at ease. And Abby's work? Absolutely incredible. Her hands were so gentle and precise that my son was completely calm and, honestly, seemed to enjoy the entire experience. It's rare and incredibly heartwarming to witness this level of genuine compassion. The entire staff showed such kindness and understanding...it didn't feel clinical, it felt human. Dr Kabans clinic got me an appt so fast and made sure to confirm that I was not in pain. I have major medical anxiety and PTSD due to some pretty terrible care. Everyone was extremely patient with me about that. They were kind and encouraging. I appreciated the little touches like the rescue kitten cam videos, the emotional support cuddle bear, the full body bib, the warm washcloth for after and much more. Jessica was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She looked up my insurance stuff and got everything together really fast. I was shocked how quick she got it all done! AJ is a great assistant and even thought I was explaining to him that I am a hot mess and super freaky about medical providers he assured me that he didn't think I was weird and he would take good care of me. Dr Kaban was so patient and explained everything that he was doing and made sure to answer my questions. While I don't want another root canal, I would definitely come back here if I need one. I am also pregnant. Went in today to get the root canal. Was not excited to say the least but I can say I've never been more comfortable. They gave me pillows to make sure I was comfortable and checked on me through the entire procedure. I have never been numbed and not felt a thing but there's a first time for everything. I do have a hot nerve and I was bleeding quite a bit. I felt every time he hit a nerve because I jerked. Dr. Kaban stopped immediately and numbed me up to make sure I didn't feel anything. We did not finish and I will be back to finish but I appreciate that he was very straight forward about everything and was on top of care and comfortability. Only endodentist in Vacaville/Fairfield that I would give my money too. He's not corporate owned and accepts United Concordia Tricare dental.
