Your field by the refreshment stands and the bathroom needs ALOT of work. The dirt was blowing all over in the wind as the dirt is so dry and has not been watered. Dirt needs to be harrowed and watered and taken care of . There are huge wholes in the batters box and catchers position that need to be filled in and harrowed and flattened down. There are bathrooms and a concession stand but are only open when baseball or soccer matches are going on. Sorry I didn't see a dog run here. Otherwise a nice little park that has plenty of parking and normally is not crowded.

Todays visit to the Community Center in Syosset Woodbury Park had an Hour long Holiday Magic…read morepresentation by the Silver Songbirds. ( see pix) For those who might be using a GPS be aware once entering the park to make aright turn and follow to the back parking lot where the Center is. The group was lead by Susan Lilli's - Conductor & Narrator. They sang a variety of holiday songs and did a few skits, also handing out candy canes to the audience. "Nancy" played the drum for " Little drummer boy". They ended with "Auld Lang Syne wishing the audience good holidays and Happy New Year. In the back there were a few snacks for the sharing. The building itself has some children's decor, a display of wall tiles and a little Christmas tree in the hall.

My friends participated in a hiking and brewery experience that we found online. This was the…read morehiking area that was chosen for the event. The Preserve makes up a lot of hiking trails and we only did one. It was about an hours worth of hiking. It had wonderful views and was relatively easy. The most difficult part was hiking into and out of the gorge. I would definitely recommend this to first time hikers. There was a separate trail that lead to water but we chose not to do that one; next time! I would also say this is a very dog friendly hiking area. Lots of space and easy to walk for the puppos.

Tx to the many of individuals, Staff and sponsors who serve there and Volunteers for this 2025 international monumental event. They each get 5 stars. Police, Military, Army Golden Parachute Jumpers , Troopers , Security, First Aid including a Mother's station and the great transportation people, (tx Suzanne) restaurants and kind people making things work. Maps both physical and QRs. Beautiful well kept grass and a crew keeping the place clean. Bravo to Citi Bank for their golf activities- Put Put and Vertual - phone Charger stations, a real Bar, places to sit and AC and photo shot spot. Thumbs up to the hard working volunteers at Delaware Patillon Restaurant C-9 , so many diligently work behind the scenes and runners to put lunch foods and drinks out for the many visitor's coming to this event.( see pix)

This is a family- and singles-friendly park…read more There is an $8 vehicle entry fee at certain times of the day, so it would behoove frequent visitors to buy an Empire State Pass, which costs $80 for the season. Go to ny.gov keyword: Empire Pass. The same Pass can be used for unlimited visits at most parks and beaches throughout the State of New York. I passed by here on Memorial Day weekend. In plain view was a Park Police vehicle, so I felt safe. I also saw several people riding in a paddle boat. How fun! There are multiple clearly marked trails, which are great places to ride your bike or walk. There were several people feeding the ducks and geese in the lake, ignoring the signs that warn them not to do that. The two children's playgrounds are quite spacious, and leashed dogs are allowed. There are lots of picnic benches and huge tables. The restrooms have a lot of stinky toilets. Staff needs to clean them more often. Finally, BEWARE OF DEER TICKS! A few people said that they saw some, so bring some tick repellent.

They have a smaller enclosed playground and a bigger open playground. I've loved going to the smaller playground because it's padded (thank goodness no wood chips here!!) and gated. She was able to crawl around and watch the big kids on the playground equipment and also enjoy the swings. The park also has restrooms located between the two playgrounds. There are three pickleball courts, and all are well lighted. The parking lot is adjacent to them, so it will be less than a two-minute trek to and from your vehicle. The courts have smooth surfaces, and balls bounce off them well. I see a lot of good volleys here. There are also several tennis courts, a basketball court and a children's playground.

My children typically plays in the playground while my husband and I play tennis in the park we go to in Florida. However this wasn't the case here. The tennis court gates were all locked. It's a public park with a private tennis court. The basketball court look unkept but the tennis court looks newly re-done.
