Our car was removed from Georgetown Village in Glastonbury before the tow time on the contract. The driver was still on the street and had hooked the car prior to the 2 AM contracted time and left premise at exactly 2 AM. The tow company is saying there's nothing they can do because of the fact that they left at 2 AM. No mention that they hooked the car prior to 2 AM and that when we were on the phone at 1:55 AM they hadn't even left yet. Filing a complaint with DCP this afternoon. read more

Well, I don't know who will give this place 5 stars. They are just doing their jobs I guess. I just think it's a rip off that there's a $50 after hours fee so they jack up the price of your towing. If you wait until the morning, u save $25 because they also charge you for storage fee. Also, since no one is manning the place, you are literally at the mercy of the drivers and whenever they get there. I had to take an uber there and the whole street is dark and kind of scary. Starting from the correctional facility and warehouse type places. I had to wait in the dark for the driver to come. Don't want to deal with frustrated people, maybe don't work in the kind of business that tows a car after 10-15 minutes in an empty lot, with a child's car seat in it, and then offer no option for pickup for hours. My car broke down on 84 in a pretty dangerous spot and Ron got there under 20 minutes which is great considering the 7 am traffic. He was so kind and even helped me get a rough guess of what happened with my car. He made me and my mother feel at ease with how informational and helpful he was. Great guy and great family business! I am a manager and have two parking spaces i share with my employees. I took out my parking pass to give to one of my employees and Stopped by to drop off products at my store. Came outside 2 mins later and saw him backing up to tow my car. Luckily i got to him before he hooked up to my car... I then proceed to tell him sorry and that i will move right away, and he still proceeds to hook up my car AFTER the fact. When the police arrived there, he then lies to the police officer and says he was already hooked up to my car before i went outside. Blatant lie and the security footage proves it ( he didnt know it was on camera) Very unprofessional. If i was already hooked up i would've paid and just chalked it up to having bad luck. But to hook it up when i am actually at my car is ridiculous. Police and the landlord are asking for the footage and i can't wait to send it. Nice job lying to the police ahole. read more

These guys are jerks. Towing someone's car that resides in the complex that is handicapped. Then told my mother that they will keep towing her car if she parks there till her apartment complex gives her an updated sticker for her car! Worst place ever ! Towed my friend's car today and gave me and her attitude. Told us to come back after 8 and we've been waiting for 20 minutes for a driver to show up. They towed my car a few years back when i left it idling while i helped a neighbor who had fallen down their stairs -- i came outside , my car was gone like a fart in the wind. I rang the police as i thought it was stolen - it wasn't stolen , it was "stolen" by whitey's. I take an Uber down to this junkyard and the 1 guy there who was clearly strung out, wearing sunglasses at 10pm and slurring speech, gave me a price for card or $100 cash if i could meet him outside of the office to pay him down the road. I had cash so ended up doing that figuring I'd save money even though seemed super unethical. I get on 91 and my dash lights up like a Christmas tree. I call them immediately , no answer and It's late so i try to drive the remainder of the way home. I barely make it home. Next morning the car sounds awful and finally dies out. I have it towed to Nissan -- turns out whiteys in their rush to tow my car had put a j hook through my oil pan and as a result , my motor had blown on the drive home. Whiteys claims i should have pulled over and checked my oil and that the motor blowing "wasn't their fault". Fortunately a judge felt otherwise as i was left with no option but to lawyer up---After being without a car for just over a year while this made its way through legal system , the nightmare finally ended. Horrible experience!! The person was very rude, right for the phone call until the pick up. As the other review said, it was a total ripoff with the $50 after hour fee. He refused to give me the break down of charges and did not show the bill until it was paid for. So, he was not told about the after hour fee until after the bill was paid. Also, was not given me an option to pick up during normal business hours. I would give less than 1 start, if I could. Never will go back to them or recommend anyone. read more

Yes nobody likes to be towed, but my issue was with the dispatcher of the company. He was very demeaning when he talked with me and hung up on me when I asked how long it would take for the driver to return (it was after hours). Had my car towed after parking for 5 minutes to drop my girlfriend off during a snowstorm. Called the place and the guy was rude right off the bat and said "well I guess that's good for us then." Next day go to pick up my car and pay and notice that a $50 after hours fee Saturday was added but I probably would have been charged double had I waited until Monday. It doesn't end there, when I went to pick up my car, the rear tire was popped and flat left out there. The Connecticut DMV web site shows that the state has maximum rates which can be charged for towing under "non consent" tows, which include tows by law enforcement or traffic agencies... http://www.ct.gov/dmv/cwp/view.asp?A=799... 2. By far the best tow company I have ever encountered. A new driver of theirs towed my car by mistake from a private parking lot and the staff gave it back with absolutely no charge or argument. Its very rare to find a tow company that will let you explain your side of the story! They were friendly and professional, could not ask for a better experience. read more
