I'll always prefer UK butter, but it's just too costly to purchase so this is the next best thing. Though my kind auntie visits from England and sometimes brings some Anchor Butter - perfection! Check out your friendly, neighborhood grocery store as I'm sure they will carry it to whip something tasty with at the comfort of your own home.

Danone North America is a consumer packaged food and beverage company based in White Plains, New…read moreYork, U.S. Danone manufactures, markets, distributes, and sells branded premium dairy products, plant-based foods and beverages, coffee creamers, and organic produce throughout North America and Europe. I use a lot of their products such as Land of Lakes. I was recently turned on to their Stok Cold Brew Coffee by, guess who? my daughter. It's really good and you can buy it at many local stores or Amazon. Call me crazy but I keep drinking hot coffee all summer, except rare occasions. My daughter sticks to Stok and won't have hot coffee until fall! Anywho, I'm recommending their products.

I don't think I've ever had a 90% dark chocolate bar that I enjoyed as much as I did this one. I need to restock soon. And the hibiscus one is so refreshing. I will definitely be trying out some of their other flavors. There was a gentleman that helped me, I believe he may have been the owner. Very friendly, and helpful!

Wow bao!!! Is what I said while eating their chicken bao bowl…read more The bowl was 9 bucks which ain't cheap but the portion size was quite large which I appreciated. The chicken was very very good. The seasoning was spot on and they developed on awesome char on it. They cut the chicken into strips and drizzled a homemade zesty sauce on top. They use chicken thighs which is my preference but to some may not be your thing. The chicken sat on a bed of really deliciously seasoned rice. They accompanied the dish with plenty pickled cucumbers and some fresh jalops. Every bite of this dish was heaven. Especially, washing it down to with some bomb beer from Rails End Beer company. The guys that run the truck are super friendly. I'm likely going to start craving this dish again soon and will be hunting these guys down. Wow bao!

Great place to buy a large variety of woods for smoking. All sizes - don't see what you want - ask…read moreand they will chip it/cut it for you. Lots of rubs and sauces. All that I have tried have been excellent, but I prefer to make my own - part of the fun of the whole smoking experience for me. But - try them out. (He also smokes meat for purchase - but you really need to check with him for times and variety. I haven't done this but I would expect a quality product). Bert has a large number of smokers to sell - wood, gas, pellet, electric, etc. But what he does best is give advice. He helped us pick a smoker, woods, and the spices. I think pairing of wood type to the meat you smoke makes a huge difference in the end result. HIGHLY recommended!

I ordered some post oak chunks and paid by PayPal. Once I got shipping confirmation i realized…read morethe address was wrong and sent a message to Fruita wood and explained the error. I didn't blame Fruita wood as this was obviously a pay pal error. Since it hadn't shipped yet this could have been easily fixed. Instead the owner Bert told me to deal with PayPal. Which is what I did. Then he got upset because I went to pay pal. I didn't file a claim I just opened an inquiry to let pal pay know there was a problem. Bert obviously has social issues as I read other complaints where Bert's more interested in proving his point rather than just taking care of his customers. I certainly won't be ordering again and I'll let as many people as I can know what kind of business this is .

Doom scrolling on a Friday night I came across a cul de sac club video on a home baker just less…read morethan 10 mins away, saying that people can order on her website and sign up for text messages... I was too late to order for the next day pick up as orders were closed by Wednesday before the Saturday pick up, but she mentioned on the video that she'd have walk up items available for sale on Saturday. Did not think anything of it, liked her video and went to sleep. Next morning around 10AM I saw another video posted to say that she still has a lot of baked goods.. and the video was not posted long before 10AM... I decided to drive down on a whim to see what she's got, and thinking that she's ballsy to run her business out of her actual casa... When I rolled up to her place, there were so many neighbors in the front yard hanging out, kids playing, everyone is super friendly and there were still quite a few things available for purchase. Not sure why, but the focaccia looked small on her video but it was a good size for $15 a box. Scones were oh-so-tasty and I got some savory ones - parmesan/sun-dried tomatoes and gruyere/caramelized onions... I also picked up Cheddar Jalapeno focaccia and Rosemary Thyme focaccia... those reheat so well in the airfryer... Her salted chocolate chip cookie filled my soul... I ended up signing up for her text messages... can't wait for next week when Emilie is back baking again... she also has home made granola and basil salt.. other cookies and scones.. but yes, check out her website and come by one Saturday to enjoy the baked goods!
