Wafels & Dinges has been bringing the "real" Belgian waffle to America for over 15 years. My first…read moreexperience with them was in New York City almost 7 years ago and I loved the variety of toppings you can put on a nice warm Belgian waffle. Their world-famous Liège waffle is baked fresh daily from dough rather than batter, using Belgian pearl sugar for a dense, caramel-infused flavor. Being a fast food place, the waffles you get are already made, they are just warmed up when you order and the toppings are freshly placed on top. Colin was our server and he was a very nice young man, helping us with the menu and choices. I got the fresh strawberries on a waffle and they were sweet and fresh. Delish !!!

I can't say how much I love Spice Trade. All of their beers I have immensely enjoyed and love the…read morefact that their recipes for their beers lean more towards the experimental side which I simply love. Steve and I have had quite a well rounded series of their beers and almost always I rate them highly on my Untappd account as I feel that they are simply that good... that the criteria that makes a fun and exciting beer... not to mention memorable is always there with practically each and every beer we have had from Spice Trade. I will go down the list on what we have had in the past, flavor features with each beer and what I liked best which will be tough to conclude upon. Probably my all time favorite is their Chai Milk Stout. I have had it a few times. I love Chai Tea so it's pretty much has all the leverage for it being my favorite. Flavors in this beer you should be able to detect are milk, spicy, sweet, smooth and creamy. The Sun Temple IPA was another beer we had. It was good, that is for certain. Flavors here are hoppiness, citrus, fruity with a smooth body to it. A sour that I ranked very highly was the Scarlet Giant Hibiscus Key Lime Sour with flavors of sour, tart, floral, salty and it is very pleasant to breathe in as it is very aromatic. Definitely a well made sour. Little Umbrella was also a beer we have had which was a Pilsner. This one if I had to pick was perhaps my least favorite out of the series of beers we have had. I am not sure why but I guess it was the layout of the flavor. In this beer you can expect to taste passion fruit, mango, wheat, tropical elements, fruity, sweet and tart. But my high ratings continued after the pilsner as we tried a different kind of pilsner which we simply loved. The Jalapeño Pilsner was the next one we tried. I love jalapeños already and usually like pilsners and all of the right elements were there with this one. This pilsner tastes spicy, peppery and some heat upon your mouth. It's also a nice, pleasant light bodied beer which is appreciated. Another wonderful beer was the Thai Tripel. Another very aromatic beer with coriander, ginger, spiciness and creaminess. Unique and highly enjoyable. Moving on was another beer I fell head over heels with. Partly because I love herbal beers and specifically it's quite rare to find beer with basil in it but the handful of times where I did I was simply enthralled by it. This specific beer I am referring to here is their Lemon Basil West Coast IPA. Flavors you can find in this would be basil, lemony, eathiness, hoppy and fruity. It is also a very light bodied IPA. And finally last but far, far from least was their La Playa Mexican Lager. Yet another light bodied beer with flavors of dry hops, grains and herbal flavors. The more I investigate into Spice Trade's beers the more I uncover of ones that I wish to try and that in of itself makes this brewery return to repeatedly.
