They do have a $10 card minimum, so it's good to bring cash if you're just picking up a small item. The clerk told me that my Rewards card had expired…read more The clerk asked if I wanted to renew, and I replied no I wanted to save the money and I'd use my wife's card. We used the gift card and another coupon, the balance was modest. As I go to leave the clerk snidely said you know you could have renewed for free with use the of gift card. Told him can I do it now? Nope its too late he said with sarcasm. This is about the 5th time I have had service problems with this store. The clerks are generally rude and this incident only reminded me how bad it is.

One of my favorite parts of this particular location is their giant magazine rack which conveniently sits next to the Starbucks inside. A huge amount of seating both in Starbucks and also in the store itself. You could, and I have, gotten lost in this place.

More Than Words is a nonprofit bookstore that sells new and used books while supporting young…read morepeople ages 16-24 who are system-involved, including youth from foster care, court-involved backgrounds, housing insecurity, and more. The young people help run the store, learn job skills, and work toward personal and career goals--and it truly shows in the care and pride behind the space. The shop itself is small but mighty. I walked out with four excellent-condition used books (three of which had already been on my TBR list) and somehow also added two cookbooks because... no regrets. Everything was very affordable, and it felt good knowing my purchase was directly supporting youth in the local community. If you're near one of their locations (I believe there's another in the Boston area), I highly recommend stopping in or checking out their online storefront. Great books, great prices, and an even greater mission--absolutely worth supporting.

They sell a mix of both new & used books, and their used book selection is amazing and well priced.
