Even though the part was fully covered under warranty, Alpine insisted we pay for the labor, $1,100 in refrigerant, and the $125 service fee. When I questioned the charges, they simply threw the warranty at me and pointed to the line saying refrigerant isn't covered -- as if that excused a failure that shouldn't have happened in the first place. Their original bill came to $1,750 for a problem that wasn't ours to begin with. Being charged for someone else's mistake just doesn't sit right with me. I asked multiple times for the service manager to call me so we could discuss the charges. He didn't call until two weeks after the repair was already completed. He claimed he had called several times, but after checking my call log, he had only called once -- and didn't leave a message. They did a great job, were finished in just a few hours, and I have a new sewer line working great for less than half of the other quotes I got. Fantastic company and a fantastic crew! **ORIGINAL REVIEW** Terrence and Jacob showed up at 4:30 p.m. to clear my sewer line. They both worked hard in the heat for 2 hours to clear large patch of very stubborn sludge in the line, then refused to charge me because they weren't able to clear the line as promised. They are coming back tomorrow morning with the large hydrojetter to finish the job and charge me once the line is cleared. They were both honest, very nice, communicated clearly, and have been a pleasure to work with. I personally really appreciate this kind of honesty and I reward it whenever I can. I'm going to hire them to fix that belly in my sewer line which is a much larger job with a much higher price tag than what I originally called them for. Terrence's bid was substantially lower than the other two bids I got for the same work.
