Cauliflower bites. So good. Crispy and flavourful.

I really do enjoy White Spot, mainly because of the healthy options they have. It's good quality & healthy options with well rounded flavours. I took my mother to this location last week Saturday June 16, which was actually White Spots 90th Birthday (congrats white spot haha.) We were greeted by Gloria, she is truly the perfect person to have front of house greeting & seating people. Very warm, welcoming and polite. And she looked very nice too, her makeup was very well done. :) Our waitress was Toni and she was such a delight. You know when you meet someone and you can just tell that they have the most genuine, kind & humble soul? Well that's Toni. Simply a naturally beautiful and wonderful human. :) A few people sat themselves in her section (they decided to not follow Gloria to the seats she wanted to seat them at), so she was double / triple sat at one point, but she handled it graciously and her calming demeanour made it look easy. My mother also really liked her. Her attentiveness and attention to detail was nice too. We had these cauliflower bites to start, they were awesome! Ahhh I loved them! SO flavourful! My mother had the brunch sandwich and she really liked it along with the endless "smashbrowns." I tried a couple, they were so crispy on the outside and so fluffy on the inside. Delicious. I had the grilled chicken burger wrapped in a lettuce "bun", it had bell peppers and healthy layer of lettuce. It was so fresh & I loved it. I chose the spot salad and it was as expected, just lovely. Great flavours. And for all of that the price was good and very well worth it! I will be back! M.M.

Went here with my family for lunch-just came across it and decided to try it. It was a good place for lunch. It's a typical coffee shop style with booths and tables. There was a bar with a TV next to the restaurant area. They had some pirate flags around and for kids their meal comes in a "pirate boat." which was fun. I had the Mediterranean chicken burger sandwich with a caesar salad. The sandwich was very good, lemon herb chicken breast that came with feta cheese, sliced cucumbers, red peppers, lettuce, tomato, and tzatiki. The mix of flavors was very good. The Caesar salad was one of the side dish choices (other choices were fries, green salad or cole slaw). Service was good and I'd go back again.

White spot is a Canadian chain family restaurant.

Clean, warm, pleasant surroundings. Best potatoes on the island. Great Southwest Chorizo Hash.

Well guess what, it did, More Eatery did not disappoint, it was excellent! It's a store, take-away and eat in all in one. Given the amount of people picking up food there is no secret locally that the food is good. Our service was good, with two ladies taking care of whatever was needed. The menu items are quite eclectic, but with the ingredients all printed on the menu you know exactly what you are getting which I appreciate. I chose the Italiano Benny which had pork belly on focaccia topped with poached eggs, arugula, tomato, a pesto hollandaise and mashed taters. It was delicious, flavourful and very filling. The lovely K had the Breaky Wrap which had bacon, scrambled eggs, arugula, green and pickled onions, cotija cheese, a cilantro crema and tater tots along with mashed taters. It was also outstanding and filling. It's bright and airy inside with items for sale that are cool and different, and the aforementioned take-away keeps the traffic moving. Overall with last nights top quality meal, and this one the following morning, the food scene here is Campbell River is alive and vibrant. Can't wait to return.

I always look for new local restaurants to try and support, but…read more... Service & Flow: The hybrid cafe/grocery and sit-down restaurant concept creates a confusing workflow. It took over 20 minutes just to have our server say hello, for the first time, and take our order. In a 44-seat dining room, the service priorities between walk-ins for a coffee, grocery shopping and seated diners felt entirely disorganized. The Food: The menu descriptions were incredibly promising and professional, but the execution didn't match. We were genuinely confused when our dishes arrived, feeling underwhelmed. The burger was lackluster, and the chicken, bacon, tomato, and avocado sandwich fell flat. The "loaded" tater tots were disappointing, reliant on a fake cheese sauce rather than quality ingredients. Kitchen Practices: As a chef, watching the kitchen raised some immediate red flags. I witnessed FoH staff using non-food-grade chemical cleaner on the stone counter, and cooks wearing service rags on their shoulders. The aesthetic of the establishment is overshadowing the actual quality of the food.

Our only issue was its on a curve on a 90k highway and is a scary spot to pull out from and you can easily miss it going North. After driving for about 1.5 hours and find Sue's B & B and Brown's Bay Marina Restaurant both closed, we were super hungry when we finally arrived at this place. This is a really small "hut" and when we approached, we weren't even sure whether there is real food or it's just a convenience store. We were SUPER excited when we discovered that they served food. The place was small, cozy, and packed with people. There was only a lady cooking in a home-style kitchen, so don't expect your food to arrive that quickly. People also seemed to know each other, and I've never felt that way in Vancouver before. My husband ordered a seafood chowder and salmon grilled cheese while I ordered a seafood melt. The portions were very generous, and the food was SUPER good. DID NOT expect food to be at that quality AT ALL when we first entered. Highly recommend this place for anybody going to Campbell River for whatever reason. One thing special to note is that they allow dogs to go in, so some people may have problems with that. I love dogs though.
