I bought a Stihl leaf blower from Ace Hardware almost a year ago. It's still under a 4- year warranty, for which I paid extra. I've used it 4-5 times and on its last deployment, the cord rewind mechanism failed. I brought it to Ace and they refused to repair it under warranty (I've ended my days of shopping there, for good!). I turned to the only other authorized Stihl repair shop in town, Big John's. The gentleman at the front counter was not only extremely courteous, he actually repaired the blower right then and there - no charge. I'll bring my business to Big John's at every opportunity.
