I told the person at the checkout, who happened to be the store manager, that the price was $2.99. He told me that I was wrong, it was a different kind. I politely said let's go look and he said, no, that he would give it to me for $2.99. I said no, let's go check the price and he refused. As I was paying he said sarcastically, "Let's get you home before you starve to death." Wow! What a nasty, nasty person. After paying, he checked the price and it was in fact on sale for $2.99. No apology. I mentioned to him the Scanner Price Accuracy Code and that products are free if scanned in at the wrong price. He stated that that is an old law that hasn't been in effect for ages. The Scanner Price Accuracy Code is in fact a very much existing Canadian retail policy ensuring that if a non-price-ticketed item scans at the cash register for a price higher than displayed on the shelf, you get the item free if it is worth $10 or less, or a $10 discount if it is worth more than $10. Apparently Jarry's has elected not to participate in this policy. Regardless, the abject rudeness of the manager blows my mind. His attitude and rude comments were totally uncalled for. I am no longer a Jarry's customer and neither is my adult son who was with me.

It's like they don't check and go over the online orders from the night before. So I have to wait for the orders to be picked on the spot. I strongly recommend going over the quantities that you ordered, when they are rushing they will make mistakes. The staff at this location needs more training on how to do the job or the really don't care. Either way either check out another location or go there a pick what you need yourself. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is they usually have what I'm looking for.
