Jacob was incredibly informative, respectful, and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, immediately identified the issue, and fixed it correctly. The experience with him was completely different from what I dealt with previously. He communicated clearly, treated me with respect and empathy, and made me feel much more confident in the work being done. I genuinely wish Jacob had been involved from the beginning because I believe much of this situation could have been avoided. He was here for about 45 minutes and couldn't locate the problem, said it was the microwave and told my husband they might have to rewire the living room and kitchen separately. He made an appointment to come out on a Wednesday. My husband cleared his whole schedule to be here at 7am to meet the electrician. Well Mr Sparkey never showed up. It was about 8am and my husband called Mr Sparky to see where they were at. He gets a text about 9:45am and they tell him that the electrician that was scheduled to come out called in sick! My husband cleared his whole schedule for this so obviously Mr Sparky doesn't care about other peoples time. My husband called 3 times to speak to a supervisor, 3 TIMES and still has not gotten a call back from a supervisor. They scheduled another appointment for the following Wednesday ( again my husband had to clear his schedule). We then found another electrician and scheduled an appointment with him and called Mr Sparky and cancelled. On Wednesday the other electrician came out and was able to find the problem and fix the problem in less than a half an hour. Mr Sparky couldn't even locate the problem at all!! While my husband was outside in the front yard The electrician from Mr Sparky came by the house. What we had canceled the appointment and he still shows up! BEWARE do not call MR Sparky. They charge you for coming out and can't even locate the problem and that electrician has been doing the job for 10 years and can't even figure out out the problem!! SAve your money and time and please call some else!!

I called All star electric for a potential warranty issue on an outlet. I had an outdoor camera…read morethat was not working. I received a text at 12:40 that Peter was on his way to my house. I have this time stamped on my phone. He arrived about 10 minutes later. After he arrived he started looking at the issue and stated he did not know why my camera wasn't working and wasn't sure about what was causing the problem. Turns out it wasn't the outlet. I popped out the battery on my camera and reinstalled it and it started working again. So I fixed the issue. He then started to talk about other things and he was standing at the door writing up my invoice. I looked at the clock and it was 12:30. It took him a few minutes to write the invoice up, which is funny because there are only a few sentences on the invoice. He billed me $210 for quantity of 1. I assume that means one hour. That is a lot for one hour, especially since he didn't fix anything. There is also a charge of $39 for a trip fee and a $14 admin fee. None of these charges were discussed with me ahead of time. He ended up charging me $263 for less than an hours work and he did not even fix the issue. I fixed it. I was also going to get an estimate of doing work at another place I own. We drove there and I asked Peter if he wanted to do the estimate or do a small repair first. He said he would do the repair first since he already started the clock on that job. He was not even out of the car yet and he is billing me. This annoyed me because he already over billed me at the first house. I told him to forget it and I would not have him do the repair or give me an estimate since he already over billed me on the first issue. We were walking away and in front of my tenant Peter proceeds to ask me about the value of my house and asked about the neighborhood. I was shocked he even knew the value of my house and I am not sure why that was relevant unless he was using it for his pricing and how much he would charge me. I certainly didn't appreciate him discussing the value of my house in front of my tenants. This was extremely inappropriate and irrelevant and I was surprised about the conversation. The entire interaction felt unprofessional and I don't feel like I got my moneys worth. I will never use this company again.
