Ask the Community - Peak View Solar

Does Peak View Solar do townhome installations?

Yes, we can do installation on town homes. But, there are stipulations regarding ownership of the roof. You must be able to insure the solar array which means you must own the roof. If we can help, please let me know.

This is an excellent company. I was not an easy client because I initially had buyer's remorse…read moreafter installation. But, at this juncture, I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase. Thanks to the tax credit and no money-down opportunities, signing up for solar was a no-brainer, but the procurement process wasn't always easy. It was 4:50 PM on Christmas eve when a managing partner took my call and stayed after work to address my concerns. He explained that Solarise had been working with multiple behind-the-scenes entities besides the utility company. I had spent days researching solar installation, but I still had more to learn. Thankfully it was a merry Christmas after all because Jared is a skilled communicator who genuinely cared about thoroughly addressing my concerns. *** IT WAS A RELIEF TO PASS INSPECTION ON THE FIRST GO ROUND. BUT I WOULD ADVISE NEW CLIENTS TO EXPECT A LONG GAP BETWEEN INSTALLATION AND INSPECTION. THIS WOULD BE THE CASE NO MATTER WHAT COMPANY YOU CHOOSE. BE PREPARED FOR IT TO TAKE SEVERAL MONTHS TO GET YOUR PANELS INSTALLED AND GET READY FOR MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS, WEATHER, AND PERMITTING DELAYS.*** * On a related note, the lead installer kindly took me aside during the deafeningly loud hammering sounds and re-explained the Solarise process for protecting my roof from nails. Hearing the work on my roof was a stressful experience, but there have been big rains and wind storms since my installation, and I've had no problems. * It was great news to discover from personal experience that THESE PANELS ARE DURABLE. I woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like glass breaking during the worst blizzard of the season a couple of days after my panels were put in. It was easy to expect storm damage. But as it turned out, the loud crack I heard was a broken window. * Solarise's follow-up after the installation has been incredible. One of the company's reps just left my home after helping me to access remote software to monitor usage. I'm a happy customer. ~ Suzana Ward
