Brian has definitely improved my life. My treatment experience was excellent. My body responds well to acupuncture, so it usually just takes one session a month to eliminate the pain I'm experiencing. Brian has given me new treatment options other than drugs or surgery. White Raven is amazing! Wendy and Brian have both worked on me for neck/shoulder problems. I bartend and have some old injuries to my shoulder that were causing intense pain. I couldn't pick up a glass without pain shooting up my arm into my neck or having no strength to lift it. Now my pain is gone and my hand strength is coming back. Brian and Wendy are just amazing! They are really into what they do and are super knowledgeable about real Chinese acupuncture. I have had ITB syndrome for over 9 years and had tried pretty much everything imaginable short of surgery when I found them. I was still having problems getting close to a much anticipated marathon and after as few as 4 sessions I had as good results as I could possibly expect: I ran the race without kinestetic tapes or a brace and, most importantly, I was healthy and pain-free after the race too! I just wanted to share a more recent experience I had with White Raven studio. I had come down with shingles after an immensely stressful episode that included heatstroke, and was in a lot of pain afterward. Unfortunately, the shingles hit me at the base of my neck, so even after the shingles subsided, I was plagued for weeks with stabbing headaches that made it impossible to focus on work or enjoy my life. My conventional doctors could not offer anything other than vicodin and gabapentin, and I didn't want to be dependent on drugs with no end in sight. Lo and behold, one session of acupuncture stopped the post-shingles neuropathy pain in its tracks! I still don't understand how acupuncture works, but I am 100% convinced it works! And I trust Brian's guidance as he will tell me when there are certain things that acupuncture just won't fix. I love that Brian and Wendy will still recommend Western medicine when there's an appropriate time and place, so they offer a healthy balance when it comes to deciding the best for my wellbeing. read more

Most consumers are not really educated in the differences of providers. Not all acupuncturists are created the same. Simply the phrase of "Acupuncturist" does a disservice to the practice of Chinese Medicine which includes Needles, Manual therapy, herbs, nutrition and lifestyle counselling. Personally i travel past many providers to see Brian for my own personal care- he does real orthopedic work combining the orthopedic / dry-needling methods and manual therapy to help me solve my nerve pains, muscle aches and rotator cuff tears. As a martial artist and middle aged weight lifting guy who has decades of wear and tear- he has helped me thru many injuries: low back, sciatica, cervical neck pain, torn rotator cuff and labrum issues. No surgeries- still lifting, still doing jiujitsu with the young guys and still kicking a... He kicks a... Do not think for a minute that if you've tried acupiuncture and it didnt work you cannot be helped.. We all drive cars, some drive mercedes and some drive pintos- Brian is worth more than he charges and is truly concerned with your well being and his own continued development. My insurance only covers mediocre therapists as the great ones can't be bothered with a broken healthcare system.. So take advantage of his expertise before he realizes what a bargain he is and raises his rates- other people are charging far more for much less. read more

Amazing! I have been a heavy smoker for over 14 years. After 10 treatments from Wendy, my cravings were more manageable, my achy side effects more livable, and my irritability hushed down to a dull bitchiness - which is a huge improvement from my last quitting effort! This place is Awesome! White Raven provides a welcoming and calm enivironment that is a stark contrast to any PT or Doctors office I have been to. The staff really takes their time to listen and evalutate you. Since going there in November I have been treated for a couple different joint problems and always leave feeling better than when I walked in. Its the type of business that wants you to get better - and doesnt aim for their patients to come back twice a week for 6 months. Before being refered to White Raven I had been scared into thinking I might need surgery for a disloacted shoulder - but after a few sessions, some strenghtening and stretching I am almost back to normal.
