We could hear two fellas upstairs screaming at each other like cats in a bag! The poor woman tryin to help us was looking like she was about to pass out from embarsment. I could hear em arguing the whole time. It was so unproessional, specially with how much we payed. #2 the day of the funeral things aint any better. My boys been having a rough time of it and was fitting to pass out. I go to look for a place for him to cool off, so i see this old fella standing around doing nothing. I ask him if there is a private room we could get my boy in?? This guy starts goin off and rising his voice. When I tried explain what was goin on he started shouting over me about how he was the owner and he'd have me thrown out. That was the last draw. I told him forget it but that didnt calm him down none. He kept screaming louder following me down the hall. Thats when I realized I heard the voice before and sure enough it was the same fella that was yelling at someone upstairs the week before!! I dont know what kind of place this is but i sure wont ever be back. There aint no one should be treated like that, specially on one of the hardest days of your life.

They have a Jewish section which allowed a non Jewish spouse to be buried next to them. We bought two plots. Getting the monument has been horrific. Delay after delay. They went through 3 or 4 different reps who did not pass our info along and when time was going by we would call to see what the hold up was and the excuse was we lost track when the person left. We sent in our wording for both the Hebrew and the English. We checked and found mistakes in the HEBREW and it was corrected. The English lettering was fine, but when the proof came back I and My mother's husband did not notice the one letter mistake in a word. My step father signed the proof and we got back a flawed monument. Which, by the way, has yet to be installed 1.5 years after her burial. The problem is they didn't check it eitherand they had the correct english wording. We asked if they would fix this and they said we could for about $2,000! If there was no cost they certainly would do it! When I said I would be writing a review reflecting our experience they responded by stating that the next of kin, my step father, not the owner of the plots, me had the say. When I pointed out its been over a month since he approved it for installation why have they not followed their own advice and listened to the next of Kin? Crickets.......

As soon as he passed the nursing home arranged to have him promptly picked up and communication was excellent throughout the process. The service was to be held in the nursing home chapel with reception to follow, which would mean they would have to bring the body back. We arranged to have the casket brought to the nursing home for viewing and the service. Bryan (sp?) and Peter were wonderful and attended to every detail. They visited the nursing home prior to the day of the funeral to scope out where and how to best position the casket for privacy and discussed the best set up to make sure we approved. We worked together to decide timing and flow of private family and public viewing, and our desires to close the casket and say a final goodbye. They were completely respectful, informative, patient and interested in knowing the family's desires and making thoughtful suggestions. When discussing costs and services we felt absolutely no pressure to include 'add-ons' and were even directed towards Amazon to shop for urns for a better price and selection than what they had to offer. The day of the funeral Peter was there with Jackie, and Bryan also stopped in to make sure things were set even though they had had a large funeral earlier in the day. We had no expectation of seeing him that day. Peter also mentioned to me that ours was his fourth funeral of the day but one would never have known that from how he was present and attentive to ours. Prior to the family arriving while Peter was setting up the casket for viewing one of my FIL's nurses had stopped by and mentioned that he was usually clean-shaven (towards the end he had had some groomed facial hair). Peter immediately called me to clarify how he should look and was able to make the adjustment prior to our arrival. At 10pm the night before the cremation, the family changed their mind and decided that they wanted to be present for the cremation. Peter immediately answered our text regarding attending with details as to where to be and when. He met the family at the crematorium and allowed them one last time to open the casket, to include a blanket and to say one last goodbye. The cremation would not take place for another half hour and even though the family decided not to wait Peter, unprompted, sent my husband a short video of the casket going in for cremation. I cannot imagine what more we could've asked for from this experience. I can imagine how upsetting some of the negative experiences described in other reviews must have been during such a difficult time. The overwhelmingly positive experience we had was so comforting and made it so much easier to focus on other important aspects.
