Disclaimer* this is the first review I've ever done but here's my attempt. I've gone back and forth on this one but after considering all of the circumstances I have to say overall I'm pleased. I was slightly annoyed with someone uninvited knocking on my door (which I usually never answer unless I know the person). I did answer this time only with the intention to tell them to exit my property. I guess more of a kudos to the young man waiting at the door, I found myself listening to what he had to say. Maybe I got lucky, but he was very informative and professional. Eventually I agree to give him some of my information. I did not expect to receive the amount of calls that I did but I suppose that's what happens when you don't answer. They could of left a message so that I infact would of known who was calling me. Fast-forward a few days I eventually answer the phone with the same intent I answered my door with. (Stop calling me!) So I answer and a gentleman named Joel begins explain the reason for his call. Most I tried to ignore because at this point in time I have no serious interest in doing work to my home. After explaining that I'm not interested he tried a few times to convince me to get an estimate which I didn't need. After we were able to establish that I'm not a potential customer Joel politely told me to have a blessed day and that if any projects come up in the future to at least keep White Oak in mind. In conclusion, I have to say that I will. I understand everyone has different experiences with different individuals, but the two gentlemen that I spoke with really impressed me and if the majority of the workers there are similar, White Oak could very well be my go-to company for future home projects. Hopefully this helps someone in the future. read more

Hello, White Oak vinyl sided my house and insulated behind it. Every time I walk outside or drive up to my house, I just smile. These people did exactly what they said they were going to do and more "indeed". They educated me on the difference between "plastic" and vinyl. I truly invite you to my house to see it, it looks new. My heat bill has lowered about 25% if not more. Its quieter inside. My neighbor somewhere behind me can't use their BB gun at my house. They finally gave up. The vinyl is real strong. People have asked me how much did all this cost. Let me tell you, its wasn't that much, but I'm on Disability and White Oak found me a bank with a decent interest rate and I can afford it "easily". It has been 1 yr since White Oak did this. Its a great investment. Stop by and have a cup of coffee with me OK ? They are down to earth people there at White Oak. Call them you'll see, ask for Mike ext. 115. Well gotta go........Jess read more

I had White Oak Construction replace a large window in my living room. I was interested in them doing it because they had replaced my house siding last year and did an excellent job on that project at a decent price. I was very pleased with the window project as well. They kept in communication with me during the time between the contract signing and the day of completion of the project. They were there promptly on the day we had set for the job completion, and, in about 2-3 hours, they had installed the window, cleaned the work area inside and out, and had left for their next job. This crew, like the crew which installed my siding, was pleasant to be around and worked efficiently together. I am pleased with both projects. They look great and the neighborhood has noticed. read more

I hired White Oak Construction to re-side my 2-story house & garage in the fall of 2017. I'm very pleased with the results & have received many compliments on how nice it looks. The crews that worked on my project were professional while also being personable. They worked from down to dusk in any temperature with no complaints & no slowdown. This past fall (2018) found me needing a whole new overhead garage door & operating system. With no hesitation & no need to look anywhere else, I hired White Oak Construction for the job. Now I have a wonderful new overhead door to compliment my beautiful garage & it was all done in one day! If you're in the market for someone to do your home projects, don't hesitate, call Mike at White Oak Construction today! read more

This business does door to door sales. At first I couldn't remember there name but then I saw another one of there trucks and figured I would give my experience. A young man named Matt came to my door and told me the my front door and gutters need replaced. I did not at first see any issues so I said I would consult my husband and get back with him. I had two different companies come the next few days and to as I guessed they say that there both in good shape and have years left. One of them said he didnt even want to quote it for me because he wouldnt feel right taking my money. My only advise is find the right contractor. Its frustrating we are looking for one for our kitchen now. read more

Everyone I talked to was very polite and considerate. The salesman was very knowledgeable and thorough and the windows seemed to be top quality. The warranty also was very comprehensive. The wood around the old windows was far worse than I was aware of. The installer replaced all the bad wood, reinsulated and resealed the window frames. They had loaded the wrong color trim but he drove 3 hours to get the correct trim and returned to finish the work. What had started as a 4 hour job turned into 10 but he stayed to see it through and took every last scrap and waste away. I am very happy with the result and will certainly call them again for future improvements. Gary V. read more

Wow what a great company. I bought a old home and had white oak come and install new windows in my home. I had two different company's come out and give me a price and explain what type of windows they would install. Unique came out and gave me a very expensive price for there windows that I could not afford. Then I had white oak come out and give me a price on everything I previously priced out with unique. Not only did white oaks product seem to be in a lot better shape and seem like they would last me forever. They also beat their competitors price by $8,000. All in all I would recommend this company to anyone that needs out side work done. read more

They started the whole interaction with door to door sales in our neighborhood, which was nice to have someone face to face instead of over the phone. They asked if we had any projects or repairs we needed done. We needed some new windows and gutters really bad. They looked them over and gave us an estimate that day. We hired them and they were back within 30 days. They replaced our living room windows and all the gutters on the house. They were done same day. The crew was very courteous and professional. Their work was top quality. I am very pleased with White Oak Construction. Will use them again for future projects. read more

I would recommend this company to anyone. From begining to now, we are almost done with the bathroom (my husband and I are the hold up) they have been great to work with. They worked with us to get the bathroom we wanted AND stay within our budget. Wade has been our project manager - he has been available for every question we have had. Our bathroom had a lot of tile work. Jason, who did all the tile, was great. He was polite and did an excellent job. We have had several other projects done in our home and by far this is the best, most reasonably priced company that we have worked with. read more

Replaced two huge drafty windows in our pre-1940's home. Although the sales guy took forever, the install was done in half a day by one person. It was January and very cold but he did not leave a big hole to let all our heat out. Worked quickly and cleaned everything up. These two windows are six feet tall and four feet wide. Our house is much better now. We would love to get all our windows replaced, but they are very expensive for us. As soon as these two are paid off, we'll get some more. Very satisfied. read more

I had an opportunity to use White Oak for a consultation when looking to repair and upgrade my gas fireplace. They were very knowledgeable and walked through all the options with me (not only about the fireplace, but the chimney itself and what to look for), but also called me back with updated information after our initial conversation. All in all, it made our decision on what to do quite straightforward. Kudos to White Oak for doing such a thorough job! They'll definitely get my business again. read more

I have no soliciting signs and beware of dog signs and no trespassing signs all clearly posted on my property. Young lady with a clipboard full of paperwork to read. But couldn't read my signs. Knocked on my door while my dog is barking. I opened the door and said no thanks. No soliciting and she asks why? Then I said no trespassing and she finally left walking down sidewalk. Education goes a long way. Must not be required to go door to door for this company. read more

I got new gutters and guards. I'm very pleased with them! They are made of very good quality material. The installers showed up on time, jumped right in and got the gutters up in no time at all. They were very neat and clean and you couldn't tell anyone was here except for my new gutters! The salesman was totally professional and very pleasant to talk to. No high pressure. I would have White Oak Construction back for my next job! read more

I would like to thank the White Oak Construction team for doing a great job on my basement windows. They were very professional, courteous, and efficient. They got here early and got the job done in a timely manner. I look forward to having more work done in the future! They made sure to clean up their mess as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone who was looking to get windows worked on! read more

The quality of the product and work done by White Oak is exceptional. I see many negatives reviews for White Oak, but it is always related to the same issue, door-to-door salesman. I get that can be frustrating, but when it comes to what is important like the product and quality, I can easily give a 5 star review. I think other reviewers need to focus on what they are buying, not salesman. read more

Had several windows replaced. Great product for the price. Installers were on time, very professional and left no mess. I think what impressed me most is that when the job was completed, the installer walked around to each window with me to make sure I was completely satisfied and that all my questions were answered. Would most definitely recommend. read more

White Oak Construction placed replacements windows in my whole house. They were prompt and professional. They came when they said they would and had the windows placed quickly. They picked up the mess as they went and made sure I knew how to open and clean each window. The showed each step of window installation. I would highly recommend. read more

White Oak Construction did a fabulous job replacing windows in my home. My installer, James, was fantastic to work with. He was clear in communicating what he was going to do and how long and was pretty spot on. The windows look great and left my place looking much better than when he arrived! read more
